Hey again avgeeks! Welcome to another episode of BFF! Today I feature a pretty neat episode that involves me taking my first Airbus A220 flight! I flew on a Delta A220-300 (N312DU) from Seattle (SEA) to Kansas City (MCI) during my trip back from Portland (PDX). The A220 is pretty interesting to say the least, it has shockingly quiet engines and some questionable noises that you hear when you’re on the ground, it might be the hydraulic system or something. The takeoff was epic, yet silent, I wish the PW1500Gs were louder. During the flight, I had a lot of good scenery to look at, even though it was cloudy 75% of the time. I even got to see Moses Lake Airport (KMWH) from all the way up where I was, that airport still has some parked Boeing 737 MAXs left from the grounding I think. Getting closer to KC, I got to see some beautiful city lights as well. Overall, it was a decent flight experience, if you don’t count the occasional turbulence. I hope you enjoy this episode!
