HOW COOL is Bob Seger, when -- in the first 45 seconds -- he makes a mistake with a lyric; a fan in the front row corrects him; Bob good-naturedly acknowledges the mistake and the fan twice!! What CHARISMA, CONFIDENCE & MASTERY OF THE STAGE!! Youngsters, THIS is how it's done.

Mr. Stroud. Listen to the “Live Bullet” album and after you’re done wiping the jizz off your lips, tell me Bob Seger isn’t a great singer. He’s the soundtrack to many people’s childhood. Myself included. After a steady diet of Taylor Swift and Backstreet Boyz, I can see how you’ve been clouded by obscure music. Lesson concluded

Man, Bob Seger has more talent in his pinky fingernail than all of the shit that's out there now. I saw him in 77 at Anaheim Stadium. One of the best shows I ever saw. The man Still has it. Poor kids. They missed out on all of this Great music when everyone played their instruments and wrote their own songs.

Im from SE Mich, and back in 86 before he released Like A Rock, there was a rumor that Seger had cancer. Most rumors are started from a shred of truth. One thing is certain, after Like A Rock ,he took several years off , Then in 91, he did Fire Inside. No question that his voice wasnt the same and it never was what it used to be. He cant hit the hi notes anymore and hasnt been able to for ever. This is what smoking does to your voice. A lot of his contemporaries who smoked liked he still does are now dead, Im surprised that he has lived this long..

One of the greatest rock song writers ever and with a great voice. It seems like all his songs are written for the every day, hard working person. IMO that is why he has remained so popular. It's very easy for the average person to relate to him.
