Not sure why I tear up when I see great performances like this. A true story teller and great showman. Grateful I got to see him perform in person at least once in Orlando. They just dont make em like this anymore.

Saw him last night in northern Virginia. Wasn’t sure what to expect. I was not disappointed. I was afraid his voice wouldn’t be the same as years passed. He seemed to get better through the night. Two hours of the greatest hits from my youth. Thank you Bob.

When I heard Like A Rock the first time, the words resonated so much to me because he chronicled my entire life to his music through his voice. About the days when we're all young and bullet proof, and just how precious those days, and how fleeting they are for us all. This was a song for anyone who had the best times of their lives in their 20s, go to bed, only to wake up and you're 55 years young. "20 years. Where'd they go? 20 years. I don't know. I sit there wondering sometimes. Where'd they go?"

I remember that controversy over that caused by Rocky Dennis' real life mom... She originally want Bruce Springsteen and instead they used Bob Seger because Springsteen wanted to much money..Years later on dvd release of Mask they altered all original music from Steely Dan and Bob Seger.. They ruined it by puting in Springsteen...

@@BooBooKittyFuzzyBritches Im not saying that.. I love this song...way more than any Springsteen song.. Rocky Dennis real life mother complained to the movie people about having Seger songs in the movie.. The woman was clearly outta her god dam mind lol. Seger rules!!

He did 6 concerts in 2019 at "Pine Knob" Music Theater (now called DTE Music Theater) during major road reconstruction between Pine Knob and I-75. Pine Knob is about 1 1/2 miles from where I live in Clarkston Michigan. The very first concert I went to was a Bob Seeger and The Silver Bullet Band concert in 1973 or 1974 at Pine Knob. I was a 25 or 26 year old hippie then. (I'm 72 now, and my memory isn't what it used to be) Bob is a living legend here, and has die-hard, life-long fans in Michigan from back before he was a mega-star. We even have a Bob Seeger Day here every May 28th! He lives about 12 miles from here in a very nice lake front home on Orchard Lake. He's like that Old Time Rock-N-Roll.....it's in his blood. Long may he reign.

Saw him last year in Austin, Tx. Easily one of the top 5 concerts of my life. 3rd row and he sounded incredible, was moving well and it was 2 hours of good OL rock no roll!

My favorite Seger song...The spirutal message really spoke to me. ❤❤

So what? Hes a TRUE oldie and goodie and I'll roll away right along with him and my peers. Its greats like him that keeps us rocking along. I turn him up in my old lady SUV and drive with him out on the night country roads bringing it all back. Yeah I've wrinkles and grey hair but my heart and soul soars. Just having a hard time choosing which song to have played as my ashes are scattered to the tall trees with the wind.
