Hazelnut and Chocolate Nougat | Easiest recipe | Torrone de Aquila

Torrone de Aquila is soft nougat with hazelnuts and chocolate typical of the city of Aquila (Abruzzo region of Italy).
Easy to make at home.
Ingredients:
• 80 g of honey
• 80 g of sugar
• 60 g of milk chocolate ( you can use dark chocolate if you want )
• 200 g of hazelnuts toasted and slightly ground
• 1 white egg (if you have a big one just use ½ white egg)
Direction:
1. In pan Heat the honey and sugar
2. Meanwhile, whisk the egg white until it becomes firm
3. Out of the heat mix the white egg with the mixture of honey-sugar
4. Add the hazelnuts toasted and slightly ground and stir continuously until the mixture becomes thick
5. Add the chocolate
6. Pour the preparation into a pastry mold and spread the nougat
7. Let cool at room temperature for at least 8 to 12 hours (ideally overnight) before cutting the nougat.
