It's really about recognition. The vapidly simple hour+ long "let's play" videos all over youtube can be crunched out by the hour, while something like this takes weeks, months, and even years. I'm pretty sure he's in it to crush her spirit. Look at the way his interest grows as things progress into the song and show that she's lively in a different way than most there, and it comes out later too when they have the conversation in the hotel proper in a few scenes. I am very much so looking forward to seeing what happens.

The voice actor for Charlie is the same as noelle silva from Black clover

I really gonna miss the original designs of them all. I know it was just small details that has changed, like Alastor got more pink-ish than the original predominant red, but the originals are just perfect. Charlie especially changed a bunch

For me it was less her outfit and more her facial features that bothered me. The soft round cheeks of pilot Charlie just feel more fitting for a "princess" character.

Damn, the animation really had some 11/10 moments.

You know... I wonder. How STRONG is Charlie? I mean she's the daughter of some big shot right? And she shows some form of fire manipulation etc. So I actually wonder...

I was wondering that too. There are some frames that show she's summonning fire here and there in this song. Also, she's the one who informed the whole Hell that the annual extermination has ended *with a Firework magic or something like that* . Therefore , we can now assume that she's a Fire elementalist, that's her "main power" (for now). Alastor is a Shadow elementalist, Vaggie summons daggers and her spear out of nowhere and Angel can "spring" his arms and weapons from his belly. And as others have mentioned, she is the daughter of Lucifer and Lillith. So, I think that she can be _very_ dangerous if needed to. Heck, I am even willing to bet 0$ that she is the reason why the guy in blue was burning. (Now I want to see Charlie go into a fit of rage and burn everything nearby ÔwÔ)

Well I guess since she was born in hell and not on earth, sinned and died like all the other demons there who already have been affected from their past life on earth. While Charile hasn't experienced it and is more optimistic and cheery compared to the other demons.

Plot twist: she realizes later after all her hard work and trying that no matter what she does it's nit good enough and finally loses it, turning fully evil like everyone else who got screwed so hard in life they said "eff morals, I do what I want. I'm going to hell anyway" lol

@Nicole Eckert: Double plot twist, Her turning Evil and going on a destructive rampage is what finally pulls everything she was trying to accomplish together... (As the residents of her Hotel realize that it's kind of their fault and pull together to save the world from her wrath and redeeming themselves in the process...)

It's crazy how much details and efforts they have put in such a fast pacing song every split seconds and I love how some of the characters even made it into the actual show with decent amount of screentime like Zestial 2:35 Mimzy 2:44 Zeezi 0:39 Unnamed fire deer overlord from Ep3 0:55 Helsa von Eldritch 1:58 and more which most of you probably already noticed it

I love her subtle flashes of power. She really distracts you from the fact that she's a princess of hell and can probably destroy half the population herself. Her good nature shouldn't be taken for a weakness. You just know she's going to use her power in one of the episodes if someone attempts to harm her or her friends.

What's cool here is that us as the audience recognize the creators hard effort. The voice actors are amazing but usually the voice actors are the only ones praised for a TV show. The animators are all shoved to backend of the credits.

It’s more so that Viv was pulling characters out of her pre-existing repertoire to fill out this song in the pilot. Like, they were all given cameos here before they made their official debut in the series proper. They didn’t take her from the pilot, they took her from the same place that the pilot did. I have a feeling we may see a few other characters seen in this who haven’t shown up yet in season 2, whenever that comes around.
