Just gotta love how Alastor is already manipulating Charlie. Notice in the beginning he throws fire in the air to distract Charlie so he can push Vaggie away? Or when he says "It's just laughable~" he says it to Vaggie's face not Charlie's? And poor Charlie is too wrapped up in the music to notice all the insults he's throwing her way but only compliments her when she's on screen. I want to say it's great foreshadowing but it's so on the nose that I think it's more lampshading than anything and I love it. XD

@Andy Slaughter He’s dealing with the daughter of Satan and her girlfriend, of course Alastor is up to something. There’s also the matter of his death. We know he died in 1933 as a Serial Killer in Louisiana, but his cause of death is unknown. Vaggie’s was assault and Angeldust’s was overdosing. It’s kind of odd the most interesting of the 4 has the one key thing on how he got there missing, only for him to pop up in Hell and near instantly become one of the most prominent lords of Hell. Honestly sounds like he made a deal himself.

Can we just appreciate the writing of this one episode... left and right you're introduced to characters who get plenty of time to show off who they are: Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Cherri Bomb, even Sir Pentious. They all have their unique quirks to them, whether you like them or not, there is someone there for everyone, whether you relate to Charlie wanting to give every demon a chance to be better, or Vaggie for being the protective girlfriend that believes in Charlie's idea, even if she may not believe in it herself, or you fall for Angel Dust, the very... what's the word... unique individual who yes, is very lewd, but he does have a soft spot for some certain people, and is charismatic in his own right. Maybe you like Cherri Bomb just strictly because she's a punk girl with a bad attitude, or Sir Pentious because he's just a silly villain. However... then you get to Alastor... and he just blows those guys out of the water. His charisma and the way he carries himself let's you know that as charming as this fucker is, he's more dangerous than anyone we've seen up to this point. I thought Angel was going to be my favorite character, seriously, he's just so lovable, but then Alastor comes in and steals the show. It's literally impossible to take your eyes off the screen when he's there. Such a great character :).

Very try, though based on design Cherri’s my fave, in terms of potential character I like Angel, and Charlie is definitely the cutest. But in terms of interest Al definitely takes the cake he’s just so unexpected and odd for hell, to me anyway.

In the intro we see more characters that may be introduced later on, but we see how they are and their possible intentions just from their expressions. It’s amazing what you can tell from a character that had less than 30 seconds of screen time

@@Regenmacher175 Actually, his prequel comic shows he’s protective of women in a sort of old fashioned gentlemanly way since he’s from the 1920s. He just doesn’t like Vaggie cuz she’s the only one who knows how big a danger he is to the hotel and everyone else, so he messes with her.

@@cars81434 not forshadowing. He has no interest in causing harm to any of them as he can kill everyone there....in like less then a second and just...do what? Take over a hotel that no one is at? His already explained his plan, he is just bored af and wants to laugh at demons trying to redeem themselves. And he just likes pissing people off. He picks on vaggie cause she cant do shit to him and she knows that, no one in that hotel can do shit to him BUT angel likes him, the help he brought either likes him or has delt with his shit enough to not care (husk) charlie likes him cause he is helping, the only one who doesnt like him is vaggie...so he fucks with her to have fun, like how angel fucks with her in the car ride back to the hotel. Its also why he slaps her ass in the song, his is cannotically asexual so he doesnt slap her ass to be pervy like some would think, he does it to deliberately piss her off. He has no higher intentions other then to fuck with people and laugh at failure. It has also been revealed in streams of the cast that he respects charlie greatly aswell that he dislikes sextual stuff and that angel REALLY wants him in bed...he also loves dad jokes.

I got a feeling that husk might be grouchy and cynical but has a heart of gold and he deeply cares about his friends

This never gets old I still love this scene after 4 years😂

Sir Pentious only interrupted Alastors song because if he finished he would’ve said the title then they’d have to roll the credits

I think it has less to do with them being so similar and more to do with how Alastor knows exactly how to manipulate Charlie to do what he wants. He knows that in order to have full control over her, he needs to put on a fantastic performance and cause a rift between Charlie and her girlfriend. If you pay close attention to the scene where Vaggie tries convincing Charlie to get rid of him, you can hear Alastor listening to Charlie’s Rainbow song, almost as if he’s studying it to see how to best manipulate her.

I love how Angel just finger guns when Alastor says "inside of every demon is a lost cause."

the sheer fact that he slandered the living shit out of charlie and her plans and yet she still trusts him is hilarious to me

I love Alastor's energy. This is why he's my favorite character.

I love that look on his face when he's interrupted. But you can also feel his annoyance and anger after the fact because he was interrupted

If nothing else, I'd love there to be a scene in the full show where Alastor loses his smile. Cause anytime someone is smiling all the time (in this case an evil smile) and they stop all of a sudden, it makes it all the more horrifying.

I adore Nifty’s expressions and her cleaning when Alastor kicked that skull. Also how Husk is like mildly inconveniences but he had a little eye twitch
