Many of the lifts are not fails at all. Of the remaining ones, some "fail" simply because the lifter couldn't finish the rep. What's in the next video....a clip of Eddie Hall with a nose bleed after a deadlift?

My back literally hurts watching.
Two of those squat lifts looked ok to me. Not sure why they are in the vid. You could tell the form was shaky but the two lifting looked new at it and seemed to be adjusting.

@7:32 it looks like a normal bench attempt with a proper spot. He didn't assist any more than was needed to get the bar back on the rack.

1:34 isnt a fail, its a back stretch
Some of these I don't get. How are they bad? 6:11 has good form I guess cause his heels are raised on a mat. 6:40 was a pretty sick PR. Good for him. 7:40 bailed on a PR attempt 360ish lbs with a spotter? Good try dude. The reverse fly st 8:01? That dudes a beast!!!! You just pushing out content.

well 6:40 had not the worst form, but still bad, and his legs werent locked out, his knees were still bent. its still impressive, just small details.

6:40 Can you call it a PR if he has a spotter lifting his head? I've never seen anyone spot a deadlift before, but never underestimate the ingenuity of stupidity. Also hips not locked out at the top, and lol wtf is happening with those knee wraps?

Agreed though 7:40 is a perfectly sensible bench PR attempt and doesn't belong in here.

@@alugificator spotting DL is normal, watch any IPF meet and you will see DL spotters. Usually spotters stand behind the lifter and the main job is to catch the lifter if they pass out. Obviously grabbing the chin isn't normal but clearly it's massive weight PR at a gym and they are all hyped.

6:40 he never got the lift and then celebrated like he got a PR I think that’s why
Dude at 6:40 may not have had the prettiest of lifts, but he still grinded his way up to almost lock out. If I'm not mistaken, it was 385kg.
That beast of a man at 6:40 spot lifted that guy by the chin... Woah

I think he was meant to be giving him a cue to extend his back, I personally find that keeping my chin up stops me from rounding my back, dude was still rounded though 🤣

@John Fonseca That guy is lifting too heavy... You don't need a 30 second negative but if you're not able to get it up and control it on the way down you need to drop weight.

@@josh24441 thats only a rule on planet fitness. It’s more recommended to not control the down when doing deadlifts because it’s safer and better for improving

@@Salim_shahidy who the freaking hell told you that?? Whether you’re doing dead lifts or any type of weights, the down stroke is the most important!! That’s where you really gain your muscles. And if you want to get really technical, you’re supposed to move your weights up and down slowly and smoothly. And even more so, if you’re using a machine you’re not even supposed to let your weights touch. Go watch any body building video (that isn’t a sham) and show me where they say what you said so you can back up your claim and not embarrass yourself.

@@Salim_shahidy and by the way, gold’s gym, the ymca, and 24 hour fitness are all starting to have people stop slamming their weights. Because if you do it enough, you’ll eventually wear them and the floor out. So again, show me your proof.

I agree, that's how you build it heavier same with bench and before the pin squats dude was just standing on a matt to lift his ankles up during lift to help him get deeper. I agree not all of these are fails those looked like pretty good lifts to me.

Guy at 5:40 could be doing armwrestling training, thats how they train
5:32 is a workout specific to arm wrestling training not a fail

6:00 That's a totally legit quarter squat. It boosts your vertical and sprint time better than doing solely full squats. Look up the research. Okay, should he have exploded up faster? Yes. That is supposed to be a very explosive exercise.

Sometimes people will stand on something that adds instability to an exercise, to improve their core strength and balance. He was lifting very light, so I guess that's what he was doing.

@@Jack958 not for average folks bro..400 lbs off the floor is heavy for 90% of males.. I work in a warehouse and see ppl struggling with 100 to 150 lbs packages from the floor...thats dead weight and it aint light by any means and still most could use team lifts...let alone 400 lbs! I pulled 550 5x5 reps during training but that was from a weight training format n powerlifting.

@@matsuwd-emethdaath4002 theyre lifting boxes not barbells. Its harder. The deadlift can be cheated by using a curved lower back to increase mechanical advantage and lift more weight. However your spine will feel the pain the next day lol

His bent back did all the work. At end. With back straight the bar would go halfway of his thigh and back up. Edit: it was different trap bar, but you'll get point.
