Have You Tried a Traditional Japanese Pocket Knife?
Japanese traditional knives are so different than western designed knives. Steeped in the rich history and tradition of Japanese Samurai swordsmiths, these knives offer a unique knife experience like none other. The Higonokami and the Mikihisa Orikoma are two traditional Japanese pocket knives that offer a different view of knife making and use compared to western knives. Not only that, they are very affordable and useful. Definitely worth a try!

I'll have to look those up. I am not familiar with Turkish cakija knives. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Sk5 is good carbon steel , I personally like that the Japanese don't remove forging marks ,it's beautiful even on a simple tool.

A Higonokami is just fun to have. For 25 dollars, why not?

Exactly! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I recently bought a Nagao Higonokami and I'm waiting for it to come in! I was really interested to find a blade like the Kiridashi you showed, but I didn't know the name -- thank you!
