Hello, I am a first grade middle school student in Korea whose dream is to be a Lego designer. I have used Lego since I was 3 years old and now I love Lego a lot. I really want to get a job at Lego headquarters and I am trying hard to study English as much as I want to get that job. I may not be able to deliver my words well by turning the translator around, but thank you for listening to my story.

same, i'm 15 and lego sets and costom builds are displayed on shelves, dressers, and hung from the ceilling!

If I was given this as a job I'd take it in a heartbeat

Made a Lego star ship with my imagination, zombie island as well. This job would be amazing!

These people must have alot of creativity and be very patient because wow. Seems like a job an engineer or architect would love to do

They need to turn this into a reality show.

Am I the only one who thinks this video is kinda sad? You know... how the applicants complain bout pressure they have to go through and how its not the same as fun and play time anymore once you consider it a job? I know... it's just me :(

Its not like that at all, there was a bit of pressure, but that cant always be considered a bad thing, us designers always enjoy a challenge! I cant speak for all of the applicants but I think we all had a great experience there.

+Yyuchanj Vids if that is your job then it will be pressure and hard time, no matter what. But you will definitely enjoy it more if that is something you love

It would be my dream to be a lego designer but when you get pressure and people are rushing you to make something or create something that's when I start to break down

I would love to have this job because I love to play with blocks and create huge sets or buildings one of my best pride and joys is my first world on minecraft where I built a huge tree house and still growing today. I completed my 3 year mark of building with oak wood this next few years is cobblestone then brick so forth, I love Legos because they inspired me to build when I set a tub of Legos I build and build.

+Triston Errickson try and make it happen. But I don't think it is easy. Many of the designer actually completed engineer or electro technic degree before they got this job

This video is very interesting. When i see them sitting and building things like this, they looks like little kids haha. It also reminds me when i was little, i haven't got a computer or videos games etc..., I was playing legos all day long, during many years. For me, legos are still better than computer or video games . That was good times lol (sorry for my bad english)

its my dream too but after i realise if you want to be a lego designer you must learn spanish if in denmark cause lego is from denmark but if you said do you speak english during interview they will kick you out. But worse is if you live away from the lego countries,you must leave your family for a while its very sad

LEGO is and has always been danish. It's a family company so it will never be sold. And the LEGO headquarter is in Billund, Denmark. That's also were upcoming designers are tested through a few days along with others invited to the tests.
