@@SandiBrock Is Mark still having a bad reaction to the poison Ivy? My son used to have such severe reactions that he was hospitalized then I learned some home remedies and he recovered faster and still uses the same thing today. Mix up some cold coffee and baking soda into a paste apply and allow to dry. Also Mother's apple cider vinegar makes a great astringent that helps dry it up. Severe areas we apply the apple cider vinegar let dry then apply the paste. God bless Stay happy, healthy and blessed everyone !

Yes, Kellye, that is true. Practical application is important. I struggled thru algebra and gave up third semester (I would literally walk in and drop paper with name on it with a big zero on teachers desk, saving him the trouble and ink....) because I had a teacher who couldn't relate xyz and ABC to something practical. (small town, no alternate class) When I moved to a larger town and enrolled in an electronics class, day one instructor said, "Today we do algebra!" I said to self, "O'S...!" Thirty minutes later it wasn't just an alpha numeric nonsense shuffle. It was ratio and proportion of voltage, current and resistance. Allen P. had turned on the light bulb! A few years later with hydraulics, again: pressure, flow and restriction. My hat is off to teachers who can relate multiple real world examples so that they can find that relation that makes it click for the individuals learning style. I ended up teaching electro-mechanical courses in college and for work force development. Years later Allen walked into my classroom with a touring High School group. It was the best thank you ever, when I told him, "You made this possible."

one of my favourite moments!
Content ideas: 1. I am hoping that when they come to finish the roof off and put in the rest of the vents, we will get to see that. 2. Also would like to hear what was decided regarding moving the rams off to a separate barn to give the ewes more space - is that happening, why or why not. 3. With all that is going on, i would think this is probably not the year for capital investment or building bunks for feed, so this topic may not take but a minute to discuss.

The con would be you have to move them a distance from barn to barn, the pro would be we get to see more lamb waves, and rams would do better with a distance between them and listening to mom's yelling at their own

Hi Sandi. I've noticed that Kinzie has settled down quite a bit lately. Especially when you open the door to go out to the lambs. She doesn't bolt out and go nuts running all the way down to the other end like she used to. You've been working with her, you can tell. Whatever you're doing, keep it up. You're on the right track.
Sandi. You are a champion sheep farmer and a joy to walk along side day in and day out. Steady hand at the wheel like you gets the job done. Please Take Care of Your Self be safe around all Farm Equipment.
You have always got a smile, even if its a rough day. I enjoy watching you.
The mortality rate is considerably really good I mean you had a shot with a lamb in a feed bucket but remember when you used to have water buckets on the floor and they would sadly get stuck and pass away, in the moment it feels like the worst but in the great scheme you're taking only positive steps and it shows in the flock, nice job on this group and here's to the next one being a good'n too!
