Doris Parrochinha I think this piece was used in the movie “Farinelli”, sung by a castrato. In fact sung by a woman, but looked and sounded terrific in the movie when “sung” by actor Stefano Dionysius playing Farinelli.

Awoke weeping, for all the usual reasons. Turned to KZread and found that Stjepan Hauser has made yet another perfect video. So I wept more....not sure if that was the intention of the perfect performance, but now, having let my tears cleanse my soul, I shall, just like everyone, get through another day, God willing. Hauser reminds me of Pavarotti - he became his music, and not since that great singer, have I seen anyone else manage to do just that. C. Waugh
