Haunting Storm Sound - 8 Hour Long Rain and Storm for Sleep

Музыка

Eight hour long version of our ' It was a Dark and Stormy Night... ' to help you sleep all night long. This haunting and scary nature sound video adds some sound effects to enhance a spookier feel to the thunder, storm and rain . Longer, scarier, and even more relaxing then the original recording (okay, maybe just longer) Presented by the sleep sound website www.virtualdreamer.com - home of unique nature sounds.

I'm a 31 yr old single dad that gets my son on the weekends. I recently had to start taking medicine for blood pressure and anxiety. My anxiety and depression have really been kicking my butt pretty hard since I only get to see my son on designated weekends and the fact that I'm honest to god the better parent. I work 2 jobs from 6am-10pm everyday except Sundays and this video is one of just a handful that have really helped me get through some of my anxiety episodes especially at night being that I live alone in this empty house that was once filled with a loving family. I want to thank you for taking the time to post this because it truly helps.

+Brian Shoemaker I have also been through dark days. When I first started recording these unique soundscapes ( visit me website and you will see what I mean) it was for me... not for anyone else. I had lost my girlfriend to cancer and was alone in the world. Insomnia was the bane of my existence but I found that simply visualizing helped me sleep. I am glad these sound help and wish you all the best.

+Brad McBride I'm so sorry for both of you! I hope that you both find peace and happiness in life and Brian, I hope you can get custody of your kids. I had a friend who's wife ran off with another man, took their child and then he had to fight a custody battle. It was horrible for him to know that his 5 year old daughter was living with her mom and some other man. I think he finally got custody, but it took a very long time and in the meantime, he was alone. Brad, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you have found someone else to keep you company and make you happy. You know it is what your girlfriend would have wanted. I have seen so many programs on TV where legitimate psychics are helping grieving parents who have lost a partner, and their spouse's spirit shows up, verifies that it is really them in some way that the psychic could not possibly know, and tells their loved one that they want them to move on and be happy with someone else. Many blessings!

Hang in there Brian....Back when I was younger I had a home with love and an extended family. I lived with my Grandparents and siblings....By the time I was 25, I was the only one left. Many nights spent crying about what I had lost. Surround yourself with good positive people and begin not focusing on what was but what can be. Your future tomorrows are made from what you do today. These are things I learned...It might sound like BS, but if you really try to see only the positive and build on it you'd be surprised by how much can change in just a few years. Now I own my home, I've got a great partner and kids and finished a Masters degree program....All this stuff happened after 31 some after 40...Sounds like BS but it can work...Good luck

This offers more than other rain/sleep videos on YT. It has different sounds throughout. The rain gets stronger then lightens up. The rain sounds crisp and clear. Owls begin to hoot within the first hour of the video. The wind blows and howls but then grows calmer. Crows can be heard at times. Dogs can be heard barking a few hours in. All the sounds are off and on, no loop. So it's very unique. Most other rain/sleep videos on YT sound like repetitive white noise with a loop. Unfortunately Brad is no longer with us, but he left us this amazing piece of work for endless nights to sleep by. Over 5M views speaks for itself.

It was a dark stormy night. The wind was howling, leaves were rattling, trees were cracking. The thunder and lightning along with the very intense rain was a language all to itself. However it created a series of very high frequency waves that were very soothing to the body and soul. Then it was morning and I was very relaxed and comfortable with a unique spiritual calmness that enabled me to face the challenges of the day. Now I am once again listening to this video as I attempt to say goodnight...💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤👍🇵🇷

Honestly it is so perfectly thought-out. I love how the intro gives you that nice Thunder, the harder rain, the crow in the wolves just nature total awesomeness! But then once you fall asleep you'll notice that when you wake up and it still going that it's just a soft rain playing and you don't hear the other sounds. And I pick up no traces of looping which I cannot stand they can be very distracting which is another perk! If it does loop he did a great job at hiding it ! Obviously somebody knows what they're doing ! Cuz the last thing you want to hear is a loud boom or some other noise that would wake you out of REM sleep like thunderstorms do to us even though we love them . This particular one I would think it's great for light sleepers because it isn't disturbing at all once you get into that REM state. Honestly it's a very well-thought-out and I love it! I know I posted once probably already but after using this so many times now I can honestly say it's brilliant. I am an insomniac! And I have taken this and posted it all over the place the people who I know are having to the same issues with sleep. It is not really that spooky. Otherwise you catch like the first couple minutes where random things come up on the screen it's kind of funny actually!

I have listened to numerous sleep sounds on here but this is by far and away simply the best! I LOVE the blend of different sounds, from the heavy to the light rain and everything in between, it's very imaginative. So when sleep evades me, my earphones go in and this helps transport me to the wonderful land of nod. Thank you and goodnight from Wales, UK. .

+Nikki Jo Lucero The only scary thing was the first time that I actually watched the first few minutes of it, when the girl from the well pops up front and center - that caught me off guard! But I also love it for the howling wolves, the screeching crows, the strong wind and the rain that gets heavier and lighter over the course of the video. It is very authentic! And I mustn't forget to mention the thunder! I love that as well! Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thank you! I will definitely be listening to this for the next few nights - my husband and daughter are going to visit his mom for Thanksgiving - she just had heart surgery. I am staying here because my sister doesn't have anyone but me, and I don't want to leave all of my animals for that long. We don't have anyone who will be around to look in on them daily. So I will be here alone for Thanksgiving, except for the few hours that my sister will be over here. I get kind of scared when I am alone at night - so between leaving the TV on and my stormy night sounds on here, I should be OK til my family returns on Saturday night. By the way, my middle name is also Jo. You don't see that very much any more! Good to meet you! : )

Roman Darius California & the Pacific Northwest, are the lands of ancient trees, such as the giant Redwoods & Sequoias, & so many more. With the drought, no there isn't enough water, Mr. Roman, however, the trees were here long before humans arrived. California is the major agricultural state in the US & we wouldn't have the fantastic fruits & veggies, which are shipped world-wide, without those trees. It's a terrible situation.

Yes, fruits and veggies are very important. But just like global warming, everyone thought cutting down trees would destroy the world. And my point is: We will never get rid of trees because we all have a lover for nature. We watch these videos because we love to hear the sound of rain falling, and that open land.

This story left me afraid of staying home alone during rainstorms and afraid of the forest creek behind my house for years. Ever since she and her family moved to a new house, young Dana has become become terrified of the rain, telling her parents that during storms, “the rain thing” comes out of the woods by the creek - a shadowy, shapeless thing looking for an opportunity to take her with it. Of course, her parents brush this off as an overactive imagination, because parents in scary stories are the worst. One day while the sky is heavy with storm clouds, her mother gets bitten by a snake and her parents both have to drive to the hospital, leaving Dana behind before she can argue otherwise. As she waits alone in her house, she says to herself sadly, “who’s gonna stay with me on this dark, rainy night?” …a plea that’s met by a whispery, “I will…” from the woods, the voice getting closer and closer every time it speaks. When her parents return, Dana has vanished. It’s said that anyone who goes to the creek and stares into it long enough can see a shadowy shape in the water with a face that looks just like Dana’s.

I herd that whisper as well but from a dark room down a dark hallway in the amityville horror house when I was 2 or 3 and I hear that whisper every night now and I'm 28 these rain sounds silence that whisper that is becoming a howling scream because I stayed alone in the darkness and not once answered welcome home

@@RealFearstoryline I'm not a author or a story writer but my life has been quite a story and its probably not believable to most but my parents rented that house for real and I was fighting every night until I was 4 and my dad saw what was attacking me so we moved to Montana but on the buss ride I slowly looked back in the darkness of the back corner of the buss and she followed me too 403 Bonner road the nightmare night became a war fighting and the days blurred from my struggle

Thank you sir for the best ever rain video. The subtle sounds in the background are geniuss! The bell tolling on the hour based on the number of the hour would be very cool! (And an animal sound on the half hour lol) At any rate, you are very deserving of cudos Brad!

I can't fall asleep without this video. I have a horror story in my mind as I listen to it. One of these days I am going to write it. The problem is I fall asleep before I know how my story ends!
