Chris Cornell's voice is incomparable. And this cover of "Billie Jean" is gorgeous.

Chris Cornell "Nothing Compares to you" is astounding. It's acoustic and live and perfect.

He was one of the greatest voices in rock for sure.

YALL. PLEASE do him singing "when I'm down" live at the Troubadour. It's like almost a jazz style. It's incredible. He goes to another place you'd never expect and nails it.

Love his voice. Such emotion to the lyrics.

Chris Cornell also sang a cover of Metallica's song "One" while playing the band U2's song "One" on the guitar. Very unique cover. You should check it out.

That is one of my favorite covers. It is so good. He was so freaking talented. I watched it for the first time right after he died. I broke down and sobbed. I still can't watch it without crying.

I have always liked Soundgarden, but I have never heard Chris Cornell's acoustic work before. His phrasing is amazing, as his range. I was so sad when he passed away.

That voice could be singing a butter commercial, and I would still listen entranced. 🕯❤

Chris has some of the best covers you can find of some legendary songs. His cover of Led Zepplin, Thank You. Dare I say I like it better than the original. I was never a fan of MJ's Billie Jean but this rendition gave a whole new vibe and meaning to me. What an epic and haunting performance

Chris Cornell was definitely a generational talent. Was lucky enough to see Soundgarden three times between '92 (& '96) and 2013 when got back together for their last LP. All those years of Grunge singing hadn't affected his voice as much one would think and he still had that absolutely amazing soul and range. RIP brother

Had the pleasure of seeing him do this in person in LA, at a very intimate venue and it was amazing. I highly recommend you listen to it again off the actual production version.
