Haunted house Pinball Machine With Speech and Multiball!
Ойын-сауық
Gottlieb’s classic Haunted House but with added speech and multiball just like it should have come out of the factory :-) I know my bonus display doesn't work, its complicated! The work on this was carried out by Chris Williams our UK Gottlieb guru. You can read how he did it here www.pinballnews.com/learn/haun...

That organ song was my favorite thing about this game
Fantastic! I love the additions. This was the first table I ever fell in love with as a kid, I really hope to own one someday. I was totally fascinated by it having 3 levels
OMG, used to play this all the time. 50p a go I think? 16 bit music, speech and multi ball in 1982. Ohh I miss those days!!! 😀

OMG
The music to the attic was always a bop.
OMG! Neither the PC, iOS, nor Toyshock versions have the text to speech, or flashing lights this pin has. Wow! Thanks for sharing this. :)
I thought this table was really boring in pinball arcade, but this makes it way better!
Really love the Atari noises this thing makes, and the game over music is amazing.
Multiball would be madness on this 3 level machine!
wow. Silverball in Asbury Park just got this game. It looks challenging but fun. So much going on for 1982. Can't wait to give it a go.
Like Black Hole, this might’ve been used Speech and Sounds to feel the Spookiness.
That's really cool, that adds a lot to the game with the added features. Right on man.
Good to see some old classics still in the room mate.
Great job making a classic even better !
I need to add that these changes weren't done by me (I'm not nearly clever enough) but by a UK Gottlieb god called Chris Williams. You can read the full story here www.pinballnews.com/learn/hauntedhouse/
This pin is crazy for me but I love the art work pretty cool that you added mutiball to make it harder.
I found this machine fascinating when I saw it back in the mid-80s at Chicago Game Company, an arcade next to Lane Tech High School when I was a student. I guess the speech and multiball features were added later. Talking computers really fascinated me when I was a kid, and that is why I did an application to access email and web pages over the phone that I run today.

Oh, this is a mod. It was a right pain in the ass to do IIRC
Hold up. If you complete 1-2-3-4-5 shots and get the Jackpot, can you still light the Extra Ball and Specials?
Nice airball into plunger lane @ 1:40 - it seems that either the ball was fast enough after being kicked by the nearby slingshot to do that after hitting the "2" target , or the coil in the mentioned target kicker is a bit too strong. Also, the cellar GI seems to flash when either of the cellar flippers are activated.

Typical Gott, always stuff to do! :-)
Had the chance to play this pinball machine and I'll admire it for it is with the different playfield levels and absurd amount of flippers, all of which are useful. However, it severely lacks in IP and on-board direction. It makes it super hard for this to become a likeable machine.
It’s excellent to see sound and speech in this game. Can the software be a bit changed, though?
Played this table three years ago and I was listening to the ghostbusters theme on my phone
God, I loved this game so much! I found one on base when I was stationed in Japan in 1981!

We just got this one for my mother. She loves it. Has a pi-80 x4 board in it. I was initially (not now) worried about the aftermarket board but it does allow a ton of customization and makes it more reliable. I may do a mod of some sort eventually. Awesome game.
My favorite pin of all time.
Amazing machine! It's Very rare here in Brazil.
I thought this game was the ultimate pinball game back in the day
Quel bonheur de le retrouver, merci beaucoup
HE needs to make a multi ball for Flash Gordon
ONE OF THE BEST
Your videos are nice!
I wish I could play that music on an organ.
Is it a real SC-01 or is it emulated? Every SC-01 sounds slightly different due to the use of an analog vocal tract.
My favourite after williams firepower, I never remember prof Stephen Hawking making an appearance when I played it down my local arcade!!!!

It's a Pascal upgrade kit from Flippp. They have amazing boards! The game never came with mutliball or speech I am pretty sure.
I read the tutorial page. my, thats a lot of work. Be very proud of yourself.
this is so awesome, i wish i could have a go haha
Waow.. Quite surprising : I NEVER knew this version with voice and multiball !!! In end of 80's, I only played single ball, with just music.. xD Were there differents versions ?

@@tattyadams Is it possible to play at every stairs in the same time during multiball ? :) (Looks like not..)
I'd take the multiball but drop the speech. At least if it's gonna sound like that.
Do you activate speech and multiball in operators menu or this machine already haved it

How it inserts in game?
no voice on pinball arcade version...
Blows goats with those additions. Built one, sold it shortly afterwards. If it was styled like Black Hole, fine. The placement of the locked balls sucked and slowed it way down. And the game never needed speech.
Is there dot matrix display for haunted house?
@tattyadams

No, the first dot matrix in a pinball wasn't until 1991, 9 years later!

Dumped a small fortune into this pinball machine in the gameroom at Eastridge Mall Gastonia, NC :-)
If it "should have come like that from the factory" it would have. Glad it didn't.
i think on 1:00 it said "first of all and say Lord specials"
@drlight6677

lol it said "Lock first ball in cellar special."
Sounds like gorf!
Microsoft pinball arcade!!

If (for example) you lock a ball for multiball while playing ball 2 you have to achieve mutiball by locking a second ball while still playing ball 2, if you lose ball 2 the machine ejects the locked ball and you start again on ball 3. I hope this makes sense!
