Drone shots give a perspective that you just can't get from shore. Love them. First boat, with all the people on board, handled the inlet pretty well, even if they should never have been there.

The captain actually did a respectable job for the conditions he had. However, there were too many people on that boat and no one should have been sitting up at the bow... they should've moved to the stern.

Yes to life jackets and drone footage. I watch because I'm widowed and I never have to ride in a bouncing boat again!!!

First time watching the drone shots. They give an even better perspective. Much more dramatic feel for the power of the sea! I’m very much a fan.

Love the drone footage. Puts a new perspective on the crazy boat owners who think they are all experts in dangerous conditions.

If that were true, he wouldn't have been out there in the first place. There was a small craft advisory that he obviously ignored or didn't bother to listen to/read .

Unless they were born with gills like Kevin Costner in Waterworld, I’d have my passengers wear a life jacket especially during a small craft advisory. Just me. Nice drone footage BTW. 👍❤️

Back in the days when we needed to dissapear a body (or pieces), the Haulover inlet was the best option after many were used already or unsafe to go to for us, no digging for hours with all the risks it comes, or drones like yours to need worry about hahaha. Fantastic how it is made this video, I never noticed. Must be difficult to learn how to play drones?

Great drone shots, that is some great drone action. I love the cigar boats can't get enough of them. Be nice to hit the waters like that, but I could never afford cigar boat.

They get an advisory and yet people do stupid things ,great drone footage by the way thank you.

Actually the drone has a GPS system built-in so you can literally let go of the controls and it will fight that 20 mile an hour wind and sit in one spot without any pilot skills at all. I'm not discounting the pilot but I'm just saying that these newer drones are amazing.

I enjoy the drone shots, it highlights the boats ability or inability to slice through rough seas, well done

Good hull design and motor trim kept water out the boat, even with all those people in the bow. No life jackets needed...yet.

He is definitely ‘The Legend’. No qualifier like black top legend needed. He’s the goat, everyone else a wannabe at this point. He has a very particular set of skills. Skills he’s acquired over a long period of time.

Evidently, Legend ain't stoopid.

That police boat seemed very nose heavy. It took the waves well, but a different hull design would seem more appropriate for police in a rough weather environment. They were not going to go anywhere fast in that inlet with that boat. Not in that weather.

Agree that the green Miami-Dade Fire Dept. boat is definitely either nose heavy or the engines are trimmed down too much.

Bow is placed against stricken vessel, to take people off, so needs to be low.

Notice thr push bars on the bow. It needs to be lownto be able to move up against a vessel and push.

The Cobia did a good job. Actually... after watching the entire episode, they all did fine. The M/D rescue boat is kind of a barge, but aside from being wet, it did fine.
