"Hats Off!" - Dealing with Hair Loss by Full Micropigmentation

"Hats Off!" is a comedic skit written and produced by Full Micropigmentation along with Cook Street Productions. This hilarious video displays some of the embarrassments and struggles a young Tyler deals with as he copes with losing his hair, how he tries to cover it up in certain situations, and how it effects his overall confidence in his personal life. Whether he's at the gym, on a date, at the pool, in bed with a girl, or trying to get in a club, the scary hairline always looms. It's one of the first commercials ever made making light of a young man losing his hair, how he deals with it, and offering a real solution to this problem so many people deal with everyday! As a bald guy that got smp - a lot of this is true. After smp you just walk taller. Huge confidence booster. Worth every penny.

My life in a nutshell. I loved being in the navy we wore hats in our work spaces. Now most places have hats off so I don’t go out.

I appreciate all approaches to dealing with hair loss, including getting Scalp Micropigmentation. I love headwear (hats,caps, head scarves, etc...) so I'm always going to come to its defense. My channel provides an alternative solution to the commonly suggested solutions for hair loss. My aim is to help people who share my perspective that headwear being worn in a manner where you treat it as being your hair, is an excellent solution for hair loss. Perhaps, if enough of us headwear lovers or supporters who have hair loss (and even headwear lovers or supporters who have a full head of hair) take action, we can change how society treats headwear, and achieve the goal of being allowed to wear our headwear in all the places where headwear is currently banned; and instead, finally have society recognize, and thus, accept our headwear as being our hair. I'd like to live in a world where someone wearing headwear is treated no differently than someone who isn't wearing headwear; meaning that anyone can wear headwear in ID photos, court rooms, formal establishments, etc...(not just those with a special exemption) and where it's no longer considered rude to wear headwear indoors, or at an event while the National anthem is playing, for example. My slogan is: headwear there's no hair loss.

fantastic, unfortunately for me my old hair transplant scar didnt camouflage well when i got SMP. So cant shave everything off :(

@@benl8177 Were you happy with the results other than the scar cover? Well I suppose sometimes doctors can remove the skin around the scar and get a better closer the next time leaving an almost undetectable scar. Is it a strip scar or FUE scars?

@@kc4ril Its a strip scar, as i wasnt happy, they offered to do my full head. I accepted and got the procedure done. i kept my hair and used it as a density session. Worked well but my hair really needs to go.

@@benl8177 Thanks for the info. I haven't had SMP yet but I've also got a strip scar and not enough coverage from the two transplants. I have thin hair on top and a bit more in front. I'm also worried how well they can't cover my scar and had even thought about having another transplant as some doctors seem to think they could get a smaller scar next time. Anyways there's no easy solution, but I wish you all the best and hope you find what works best for you!!!

Good thing Shiseido will cure us in the next year or two. This is a good option if you like to cut your hair super short, but for 90% of guys, this isn't a good look. Thank god for hair cloning, soon guys.. soon.

@@Tim.McElheny Hair cloning. They take small sample from back of head, multiple cells by the thousands, and transplant back. Unlimited supply of donor hair. It's Replicel's technology. They aiming for 2020 release.

Don't think this ad would be so funny if the man lost his hair due to chemo therapy treatments after receiving a cancer diagnosis. Not a good idea to denigrate someone's physical appearance under any circumstances. They might be dealing with a health or medical issue. There are far more effective and yes sensitive ways of advertising the benefits of SMP than this ad even though the ad appears to be funny on the surface after a quick first glance. Just saying. .
