    Had my treatment done at the Brandwood clinic, absolutely superb, the whole experience was excellent, the standard of work is second to none, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Brandwood clinic, Paul and Simon are great guys, honest, decent and give a fabulous service👍

    So what happens in 3 years when he returns and these dots have faded slightly, and lost distinction. You then add more dots, which increases density as you cannot place dots exactly on top of each other, won't this inevitably lead to a helmet effect? Unless a person literally gets the dots lasered off every few years to reduce a blending effect. Seems a short term fix for a long term problem.

    Essentially it's never meant to look like dots. If done well it'll appear as a shimmer, like closely cropped hair. This treatment was done 5 years ago and Steven still looks good with it. Depending on the skill of the practitioner and the pigment used the treatment will last longer than 3 years, it'll soften rather than fade as long as it's protected from the sun.

    +Omar shahid We would blend the colour as effectively as possible. You tend to find that at its shortest length (the most suitable length for Scalp MicroPigmentation) that the grey is less apparent. I'd suggest a style consultation where we can advise on pigment colours and the best fit for you. Call us on 0121 296 9280 or e-mail hello@brandwoodclinic.com

    can you use permanant ink and go deeper than the 1st layer of skin so your not returning for top ups every few months?

  • @BrandwoodClinic

    @BrandwoodClinic

    7 жыл бұрын

    It generally isn't every few months, more like once every 2-3 years. It is permanent ink but the dermal layer is the safest for this procedure.

    Brandwood Clinic why cant you hit the 3rd layer.or 4th like a normal tatoo so it fades much much muchh less?

  • @BrandwoodClinic

    @BrandwoodClinic

    7 жыл бұрын

    The scalp is slightly different to other areas of the body and the technique is also different. If you go too deep the ink tends to 'pool' and spread which ruins the follicle effect.

  • @donttalkwet1

    @donttalkwet1

    Is that true? Because line work from a normal tatoo if done by a pro has hardly any spread and your talking 4 5 layers in. It seems a bit to me like your making alot of your money on the comeback with very short (looking good but not for long) results. Which is okay i mean its a good idea to get return custom but is there anyone who does it with a deeper penatration? If i get this done i dont want to be back paying additional cash every 6 months or less as a friend of mine currently has to Surely a deeper needle can be used it requested? If so id be interested but only if you hit the 4th layer minimum. 1st later skin is very semi perm. Couldnt call it semi permanant tbf more like tri semi.?

    As previously mentioned any top-up (if required at all) is more likely to be 2-3 years later, not 6 months. Any top up fee is far lower than the initial treatment and we issue a two year guarantee so that any work in that period is included. All I can do is point to people on our website who had the treatment over three years ago, if that helps? Please e-mail me hello@brandwoodclinic.com if you'd like to find out more as I didn't get a notification on this reply (hence the delay in response).

    It is intended as a permanent treatment and will last forever if looked after. You may choose to have further work in later years but, as you already have the treatment at that point, it'll be cheaper.

    This treatment was 5 years ago and standards in the industry are improving in many areas, however it's clear to most people who see this that it is a high quality, natural looking procedure and the client was very happy. Furthermore Simon & Paul are two of the highest regarded, award-winning and longest-serving practitioners in SMP and always going the extra mile.

    Both practitioners are world-renowned pioneers in SMP, experts in their field and multi-award winners. As you may be aware the dots contract (shrink) during the healing process. The client is more than happy with his outcome. This demonstration treatment is now 7 years old and a number of advances have been made, we do experiment with needle sizes and handsets have also developed in that period. The video is still useful to give an indication of the process.
