Hürrem takes an action to clean her bloody hands. The news that Hatice is missing comes in the palace like a bombshell. Sultana Şah accuses Hürrem and this drives Mihrimah up the wall. As Suleiman holds himself resposible for that Hatice is missing, he gets devastated because of the news Malkoçoğlu brings. He wants an explanation from Hürrem under the effect of the suspicion preying on his mind.
As Hatice lies on the ground in a welter of blood. Hürrem pulls herself together as Sümbül clamours and she makes a plan right away. She has to whitewash this incident. Otherwise, she will be executed with Suleiman's own decision.
The news that Hatice is missing raises the devil in the palace. As Sultana Şah thinks that Hürrem has a finger in it, Suleiman holds himself responsible. He gives orders for her sister to be found.
Meanwhile in Manisa, Mahidevran gets disturbed that Gabriela isi around Mustafa all the time. As Mustafa and Gabriela gets closer, Gabriela starts showing her true color. Bali Bey gets confused because of Mihrimah's distant attitude. He learns that a letter has been written to Mihrimah as if it's Bali Bey and starts to look for that person.
While everyone looks for Hatice, she shows up out of the blue. When she tells everything happened to her, Suleiman gets shocked. He has to make a important decision about Hürrem.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

In Islam, using black magic on another believer is an unforgivable sin - very, very serious. Because Hatice clearly used that on Hurrem, Hurrem felt she couldn’t tell Suleyman that his sister had done that.

Hurrem is smart and doesn't move without a secure plan and a tangible evidence ! She didn't tell him probably because she didn't have any evidence that she actually got black magic then she couldn't talk about it. Also, if she had told him that, she would've consequently dug her own grave as it would become an evidence against her and Suleiman would think that she had a motive to attack Hatice ! The best thing was to act concerned about Hatice and play feeling ill and tired !

History Comment: I find this whole fictional plot so sad. Hatice and Ibrahim were *not married* in real life. Suleyman himself arranged Ibrahim’s marriage to the granddaughter of Ibrahim’s first slave master for political reasons and to raise Ibrahim’s social status. This new screenwriter of the show (both Seasons 3 and 4) is really changing the tenor of the show and making the women appear so very hateful. And it seems Suleyman is more often than not upset and angry with Hurrem. It’s all totally false!

AS FAR AS I READ THEY WERE MARRIED. THIS SHOW HAS TO HAVE DRAMA (LIES) SO THERE YOU GO. IN REAL LIFE SULIEMAN WAS ABSOLUTELY FAITHFUL TO HURREM FROM MOMENT ONE. AND HE SET A PRECEDENT OF MARRYING HURREM, SO HIS SONS FOLLOWED THE SAME ROUTE. AND HURREM WAS THE VERY FIRST HASEKI SULTANA, AND ALL THE OTHER SULTANAS WHO FOLLOWED LEARNED FROM HURREM. IT WAS CALLED THE SULTANATE OF WOMEN FOR THE NEXT 100 YEARS.

15:17 yes! Shah was smart in this act. The "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" had worked well for her. She had kept a good relationship with hurrem in front of Suleiman which acted as a bonus when Shah said Hurrem had attacked her on the money matter. Suleiman also successfully believed it because he saw Shah and Hurrem weren't hostile to each other. If it were Hatice, he would never believe it because Hatice was always hostile to hurrem and even attempted to kill her multiple times.

If I was Suleiman , after this incident I will send immediately Hatice to Beyhan, after as Mehmed will soon rule a province, I will send Hurrem with him as want the tradition. I will name Gulfem as the ruler of the harem ( as I am sure that she is the most neutral of all) , and I will be sure that Shah Huban will not gain too much power and won't be able to influence the harem. With that the harem will be in order as well as family affairs.

Syleiman's mistake was that he made Hurrem commander-in-cheaf of the harem. This was only Mahidevran's right. If he wanted so much someone to rule the harem, then he should give the title of commander-in-cheaf of the harem to Gülfem Sultana and send Hurrem to a province with her sons and with Mihrimah. That's what I would do if I were Syleiman, I agree with you.

Hurrem plot and scheming a lot behind the back of Suleiman, Mahidevran too , his sisters too... That's why Gulfem is better in the role of the harem - and after all in history Canfeda rule the harem after the death of Nurbanu instead of Safiye and Murad permit that she rule the harem, she was dismissed only when Murad die so it is not an impossible idea-.

Honestly this whole subplot was beyond ridiculous and inconsistent you seriously trying to convince us Suleiman would believe Hatice beat herself up to near death 🙃🙃 ? Hurrem ( regardless of who she was) should have been seriously punished for this, they should had made so Hurrem killed Hatice by accident similar of Nurbanu killed Hatice daughter in season 4 ( that was idiotic too) instead of this

Did you watch the story from the beginning? It sure doesn't seem so. Would you accept becoming a slave after being a free woman? I bet you wouldn't. And Ibrahim went against her for no reason from the very start. He started their war. Imagine calling those who like a character ''criminal''.
