Hurrem is not a concubine anymore.. she is a free woman & his wife by this point! So yeah she is family.. & remember Mahidevran killed Mehmet first.. Hurrem was just protecting her sons.. Mahidevran is forever playing victim.. but she started it! First by poison then murder smh!

Suleiman made the decision to execute Ibrahim and never told hatice the reason . He never did anything to console her . He saw how hatice blames hurrum . But he alone made the decision of executing Ibrahim . It's not like he took hurrum advice . But still didn't say anything. He still hopes that they get along. What a joke!

Syleiman was a madman. He should ask God for forgiveness or better end his life, so he shouldn't have ordered his sons and grandchildren executions. Ibrahim's execution was Syleiman's first mistake. This is sick. He killed Ibrahim and then he tries to console Hatice for something that himself ordered to happen. He knew what would happen if Ibrahim was executed. His mother, Valide Sultana had warned him many times that Hatice was sensitive and fragile and if she lose Ibrahim, she wouldn't have the strength to live. Everyone was right about Hurrem. She was evil, arrogant and her hands had covered with the blood of the innocents. Besides, if Hurrem was alive when Selim and Beyazid was fighting for the throne, again Hurrem maybe would have chosen Selim take the throne and Beyazid would be executed, otherwise Beyazid would be Sultan. Ibrahim Pasha was executed and he wasn't able to protect Prince Mustafa and Prince Sultan Mustafa was executed and he wasn't able to protect Prince Beyazid. Shame on Hurrem, Rustem, their supporters and Syleiman for these atrocious acts against the innocents.

People were not allowed to mourn people executed that would denote the ruler was wrong. There was no free access to them so no one can question their decision. Suleiman l, the Magnificent reign was the longest. He was called the Magnificent because of his accomplishments, also they called him Kanuni, the Lawgiver because he apply the rules to whoever committed wrong, treason, betrayal, even to his family. Know the requirements of becoming a Sultan if you really understand the earlier episodes you will know from the conversations and requirements of the Sultan from his sehzades which mustafa and bayazid failed. Its only Selim who didnt show his motives to the Suleiman, but showed compliance, submission, follow orders of the Sultan. The Sultan is Supreme, his words and decisions cannot be questioned and no one dared to question him, even his mother.

*I really wanna see a scene like: Suleiman eat popcorn watching Hurrem beating Hatice in front on him ,that would be legendary xD*

She is powerful but doesn't follow any feminist standards or any progressive politics as seen today in most empowered women, she is very romantic, lives for her children, is homely and yet dominates the empire. We are very pleased with the writing of this character.

They really thought they could act cruel towards her be evil with her and that hurrem would do nothing about it

And had to execute Mustafa because of his suspicious behaviour and wrong information by Hurrem and Rustem. His family turns him into a madman. He is fair to everyone but because of those mothers fight led to this we cant really blame Sultan its Hurrem, Mahidevran and Ibrahim fault.

As far as Ibrahim is concerned he was guilty of the charges he was executed for.

I hate what Hatice did to Hurrem, but when I seeing Hatice, I knew that depression is not a joke. The depressed Hatice is neither drama queen nor attention seeker. Since Hatice is a feeler, Sah's & the Sultan's pragmatic concept of letting go seems not working. She should have Gulfem & Beyhan beside her, not Mahidevil

Yeah, I sort of had a moment of thinking it's a little late for them to be worrying about her mental health now. Behyan, I think, would be perfect to help and look after her, but maybe not Gulfem, who, while a good friend, bends to Hatice's demands too easily.

Sah should stay in Topkapi, since she has the capability to interfere the council. Her existence could replace Valide Ayse Hafsa as well. While Fatma shall be forbid to come to Topkapi as her existence only causes conflict (she paid people to attack Hurrem) and scandal (she randomly approaches & seduces handsome man and almost fell into adultery slander)

He ruled an empire, conquered so many lands and killed so many people in campaigns. But in his family, he failed. He should have exiled hatice to beyhan already, right after Ibrahims death. Send mahidevran and mustafa to Manisa looooong time ago, perhaps after the beating scene. As for hafsa sultan, like Ahmed did to handan sultan, he should have exiled her to old palace for some time.
