She wasn't vicious, she was just a neglected woman victim of a strong headed blind sultan and his behavior towards her made her commit vile acts and be malicious. It is tragic that her only son was killed by the man she once loved and that she never found the true love in suleiman and her love for the sultan turned into hatred. She only wanted to be loved and happy, but hurrem didn't let things be so. On the whole she deserved a better husband, a better life. 😍

@tango argentino in history she isn't mention ever as evil. No body record this, may be at early reign she just only slapped hurrem, only slap ( not beat like they showed in series as it was not possible at all at that time) also it was likely not confirm. After that there is no record of any evilness. After 1533 , when mustafa went to his sanjak it's written that mustafa and mahidevran were the only one who never took part in any conspiracies ever. She had a great control in his son's place, the one who wrote that mustafa's court wasn't less magnificent than his father ones also mentioned that his mother played important role in this. She played the prominent role in mustafa's achievements, mentioned as intelligent and noble woman by historians. Not only these she was known for her kindness and open heart, in her son's places like manisa, amasya and konya. In series she was shown like that, hurrem did alot , if they protrayed her like she was in history so hurrem actions can't be justified. While in reality, she was actually noble. Go and read history first, don't rely upon series or wiki

@tango argentino well it's obvious, every one have this. Secondly according to history it was likely that she just slapped her. ( no confirm) while i said according to history it was recorded in one report that mahidevran and mustafa were the only one who didn't play any role in conspiracies. So how could you know about her haterness ( obviously from series) . The one who praised mustafa's court also praised her role. If she wasn't remain with sultan like hurrem so it doesn't mean that she wasn't smart and intelligent. It's rules , one woman-one son, these rules were Break for hurrem. Sultan loveed her. It's also not like she wasn't smart that's why sultan didn't love her. Even according to history many members of family took part in conspiracies in Suleiman's era except mahidevran and mustafa. So it means they are dumb?? Not smart?? That's why according to history mustafa was the most deserving prince. Mahidevran's intelligencey and smartness was definitely show in her son's place. If hurrem had sultan that doesn't mean mahidevran is not smart. Or may be you think in harem the one who played games to reach sultan room or close to him, or to made others far from him ( like they showed in series) are only smart so.... Mahidevram es la Sultana más elegante y fina de la serie hasta cuando envejeció se veía muy bien, y que mal que el sultán la cambiara x la hurrem que era muy gorda, corrientona y hasta analfabeta, y según a pesar del tiempo hurrem nunca sé supo vestir y x todo lo ambiciosa q fue se les acabó su poder y elegancia al imperio

Yes, he did. But he had son with Rumeysa Sultan, not with Mihrunisa. His sons name is Sehzade Mehmet. But he was killed when he was just 7 years old, so you can't find a lot of informations about him. :/
