Unfortunately, what it is claimed that the guy calls Laurence is not captured on camera and neither does he admit the claim. Therefore there is insufficient evidence to conclude whether the guy said it. However, what there is evidence of is the guy getting up & leaving the bar when he still has 3/4 of his pint left. So there is definitely something wrong with the guy. There's only 2 acceptable reasons for leaving an unfinished drink - (1) you've been chucked out of the bar or (2) you're too pissed.

I wonder what a mental health Doctor would make of this bloke, his actions and his complete denial of something that Avi actually heard him accuse Lawrence of being. Personally, I have never actually understood this whole 'being a racist is the worst thing to be accused of'. I'd of thought child rapist, mass murderer and one or two truly horrific crimes, would nudge it from top spot. But why he would then flee the bar, deny he'd said it (knowing it was being recorded & substantiated), and that this video would be seen by the world, THAT has me wondering. They think they have the right to call people ill informed names without repercussions or accountability.

He's used to posting comments like "racist" on social media and he has forgotten the distinction between the real world and social media. Well done for confronting him. What he said was defamatory in circumstances where he couldn't support the racist assertion and called you racist to the staff member.

It is cowardice through and through. The cowardice to fear thinking for yourself, the cowardice to defend the position you have adopted when challenged on it, the cowardice in refusing to admit you did in error repeat anothers lie having made no effort to investigate if it was true.

It's funny, as it reminds me when I got kicked out of a club as someone said I had dropped a beer bottle from the balcony. What happened to defamation lawsuits?

These people parrot other people’s opinions without having thought anything through. I know this because ten years ago I was happily living my life without really holding any strong opinions on much at all. Then, all of a sudden, things seemed to change and I was faced with a wall of other people’s strong opinions. The choice was to go with them or take a look at both sides of the argument and reach my own conclusions.
