Haters: being haters Jade: being agressively wholesome
I think I've never cried as much as I did with this video. First because I felt angry, angry to see such amazing people receiving hate after being so opened to us all, people who took so long to educate and help everybody who were seeking for comfort and knowledge. However, as the video went on, my tears became tears of gratitude. You are dealing with such a distressful situation, but even in a moment like that one of yours took time to send us a message too. I do not have DID or any kind of dissociative disorder, but I've been clinically diagnosed with depression, anxiety and panic disorder. Finding your channel was the best thing that could have happened to me in a while! Trauma affected me, obviously, and my self-esteem coudn't be worst, but on your channel I've found a place of love, honesty and care. You only deserve love and respect. I see the hate being spread and I feel so angry and sad... But I remember that I'm feeling it exactly because I care about your System, and if I care about you, it's because you are the people for whom I do my best to make the world a better place for. It's people like you who helps me keep going. And not because I see you as "Gods" or something, but exactly for the opposite reason. That's why I wish to say thank you. For Jade, for taking your time and efforts to film this and say what needed to be said. For the whole System themselves, for doing their best to live well, happy and also supporting us, completely unknown individuals to you, to do our best to keep living well and have more empathy. I have no idea if you're ever going to see this comment, and that's ok. I just wanted to say thank you. Especially to you, Jade, whose powerful words here will be forever in my heart. You guys are indeed special and deserve to rest/take a breath. You already made a big positive difference in other people's lives... ♥️

I get goosebumps whenever she speaks, but it's not the "I'm scared"-kind. It's the "Whatever this person has to say is acutely important"-kind.
So many people focusing on the segment where Jade validates self engagement is nice and all, but did you watch any further than the first five seconds? I ask this bluntly because what she had to say at 7:20 is the core of the video. The system has lived a life of complete abuse and misunderstanding before posting a single thing. We made the system feel more confident about coming forward with a life of pain. Then we snatched it away from them and stratched them. The experiences of Paytas, the follow up from Anthony's video and Team Pinata's terrifying activity would be enough for any brain regardless of mental health diagnosis. To take all that then send death threats, make exploit videos (seen 3 there is nothing like the untalented piggy backing off trauma for the algorithm to get a hard on). I'm not surprised the protectors of the system said enough. I hope they come back some day.

I am a beginning therapist and she is right. My job is to listen, find the areas that are lacking and help you empower yourself. People who are traumatized have power just for the fact that they lived through it. That humbles me to hear the stories. As a therapist I say that I can never live through that. I do not have stars in my eyes but I do have a flashlight in my hand to help lead the way.
@phoenixmoon5580
4 жыл бұрын
@@ljones1908 I think therapy or any health related interaction is a team effort. The patient/client/customer is an expert on themselves and their experiences, but maybe not have the knowledge and/or ability to work through them and manage the associated issues. The therapist/health professional is an expert on how to listen and help people, but do not have the knowledge about the person or experiences they require help on. Both people are an expert and a non expert, and both are seeking the other person's help in the other aspects. Therefore they are equal rather than the stereotypical 'doctor knows all, patient knows nothing' approach. Good luck!

I had a really bad depression 'attack' yesterday, I hadn't felt that awful is so long. I felt useless, unneeded and angry at myself for multiple different reasons. To hear someone say that I am valid and treasured... I just broke down. Words that I have longed to hear, came from someone I barely even know. It just goes to show that words can really affect you, whether they are good words or bad. So please be mindful of the things you say- it might sound trivial to you but some things can really affect someone in a negative way. Thank you, Jade

Dannnngggg. Jade makes me feel so loved in the most serious way possible. She's my new favorite motivational speaker
I think jade is the only person who has genuinely been able to motivate me to stay alive while keeping a serious and almost unnerving tone. Most other people get angry or sad yiu feel this way, that you feel worthless and no longer want to be alive, so they try to pull you up by knocking you down, and feeding the same bs of “you’re not worthless that’s ridiculous” down your throat. But jade does it in a way that the love and care radiates from her. There is no attitude other than serious genuine love. There’s no energy if being annoyed that you feel that way. She really got it through to me that fighting for myself is not wasting my time. She engraved it into my brain in a way no one else has. If I have nobody else in this world, I have jade and kya, omega, Mike, maeri, doll, I forgot the demons name but I have them too, and the rest if dissociaDID. I love you all. Thank you so much, and thank you tons to jade.

I am sorry about your experience with other people. I wish you had some good people in your life who could support you and accept that you have the feelings you have. So they would not work against you but work with you, so to speak. I think you have great value and your past experiences, good and bad, in combination with your mind, have made you the person you are now. You are a complex and amazing individual, just the way you are. I wish you all the best.

Re-watched it 2times already today and I am planning to watch it in the near future again. Thank you again for this!!! ❤️
Also to add to the point of the “click bait title” thing, I 100% agree that having things like “switch in camera” really does help boost the video in the algorithm. This is basically how I found this channel because it is intriguing in itself. Also as Jade said, you HAVE to work with the algorithm, youtube is a nightmare and having a good title will literally mean the difference between thousands seeing a video or not. Big youtubers alwayssss use clickbaity titles but they never get moaned at for it so I just don’t see the problem here at all. Also the saddening thing is the bigger you get on KZread there will always be jealous people who want to tear you down, I found this channel while trying to educate myself on DID, this is personally my favourite channel to watch when I want to know more about the subject(but not the only one that I watch) but the reason why I found it was because it’s so large. But as amazing as having a huge channel is when it comes to spreading awareness it also means that people with smaller platforms will be jealous and will cause drama, you see the same pattern happen in a lot of different communities on KZread unfortunately:/ I hope you’re all doing okay and healing, remember to take as much time as you need to feel comfortable again, and know the DissociaDID community has always got your back💜💜💜

When she looked into the camera and said “you have value” I started to tear up. I’ve never heard anyone say something so positive to me in such a confident and concrete way. Thank you jade, please come back for more videos if your safety and health allows it!

right at 14:46 Jade smiles a bit, and it gave me chills. Just that short moment after that speech on validity made me feel great. She was so supportive and said so much to try to make us feel valid, and that moment spoke just as much as the latter half of the video when she does. it was like repeating 'you can do it.'
"That is survival, not selfish" That shook me I really needed to hear that Thank you.

No one. No one in my entire life has even come close to tell me this. I am not a DID system, but I felt more from this video than I have ever felt from anyone ever. Thank you, Jade. For you, for ME, I will try more to love myself more. We all love what you do, and appreciate what you do. However hard it is, you inspire me to follow my dreams to become a psychologist (although that will never be true) and try my best to help the people I know as much as i can and be a better person. Once again, we love you for what you do. And thank you. So much.

I’ve always felt that about her that for some reason when she speaks into the camera I feel like she’s looking directly at me and she’s talking directly to me and there’s nobody else around. She has a very intense personality but when she speaks people listen and they hear her and I definitely heard this one. This one stirred up a bunch of stuff in a good way

So, I came here expecting the usual „screw the haters speech“. Guess I don‘t have to say that I did not know Jade yet. That was the nicest, best contained piece of righteous fury+tough love+ inspiring speech I have ever seen. You had my respect. Now, you have my admiration. And I know Jade said not to put any of you on a podium, and I will try not to (though it is very hard sometimes). But it continues to amaze me how you, all of you, Nin, Jade, Kyle, Omega, and all the ones I have not met yet continue to bring out works of pure love and information. You make me feel welcome, dispite not having any of the problems you are adressing. Sometimes in communities like this people who just want to learn from the outside feel left out or unwelcome. Not here. You are right. This is a place of love. And no amount of hate will ever change that.
Jade : Staring at our souls and spreading positivity by scolding us Me : *(insert name here) will remember that*
Every time Jade comes on camera I get the strongest Athena vibes. Jade is just a glowing goddess of wisdom, but also of war. She is here to defend and protect, but also to educate. I admire Jade's strength and light so very much

Jade, I know you probably won't see this but this video means more to me than you can imagine. For a long while I've been struggling with depression...with a loss of identity. I've made progress but I'm not where I need to be. This video just helped me in so many ways. More than I can count. I just wanted to thank you for this video and wanted to let you know that you're an amazing person. I'm going to watch this anytime I need encouragement, because I know I'll find it. Here. With you.
Tell em girl! I have borderline personality disorder (clinically diagnosed) i have dealt with this A TON in my life & i hate seeing other people invalidated. People who are invalidating you are completely ignorant people, trying to ruin your day. All of you are beautiful & do a great job at destigmatizing & explaining this mental disorder. I love watching your videos as someone who also suffers with a mental disorder & im not saying it's good, but it also comforts me to know that im not alone & not the only person who goes through things such as people invalidating you. Do your best ignore ignorant people like that. They don't live in your head, they don't know what its like. That's what i always have to tell myself, its just another person who has no idea what its like to live with the specific disorder i have & that I know i have this after being clinically diagnosed (thinking i had bipolar or something of that sort but being clinically diagnosed as borderline because the 2 are supposedly similar). Keep making videos, do your best all of you to keep doing what makes you all happy.

'It takes years of work especially if you have depression to come to terms with things that are good about yourself.' Genuinely blew me away when Jade said this. It's been a rough few weeks, even months and I thank you profusely for saying this, Jade, as well as the entire system. I feel so incredibly safe and supported whenever I watch any of your videos, and I thank you all so much for posting whenever you do post! 💛
Thank you Jade! I know this is an older video but I just found it. I recently came to the conclusion myself that "selfishness" is survival and is not a moral failing. It was so validating and reassuring to hear someone else say that back to me so fiercely. Thank you! 💚

My first time seeing a switch EVER in my life was from this channel. It was a quick switch and knew nothing about the disorder so I was sooooo confused. I legit thought it was an act to show what it would look like, so I did research and looked at more video's and it took me like an hour to see that it was real and it was actually happening.
