@@xultra_violetx Bailey makes constant references to "Show Me Your Hands" through the whole of NPMD. He has the same outfit and sunglasses (tho a lot of the HF cops there seem to), and has a very similar personality. In the live/soundtrack versions of Hatchet Town, where Bailey is blamed instead of Barry, ("Bailey's on the loose and he's got a gun, and he's got a motive to kill"!) he retorts with, "I'm a cop!" Everything about the character feels like it's coded to be Robert's cop.

@@xultra_violetx Or did you mean for why he was recast? Long story short, Robert's on indefinite hiatus from StarKid. (Apologies if any of the following details are inaccurate. I'm open to any and all corrections.) A number of years ago he got too comfortable around a crew member and made some comments that made them incredibly uncomfortable. He didn't realize it at the time. Between NT seasons, he was confronted about it, and released a public apology at the crew member's behest. He took a mutually decided leave from StarKid to work on himself. The crew member was satisfied, and that's that. Honestly from what I've been able to observe from a way outside (and thus not entirely reliable) perspective, there's no ill will between anyone. But some members of the community have reacted so negatively to the situation that I honestly have doubts he'll be back. He's hardcore cancelled by some parts of the community. All this is based on what I researched and pieced together when Nightmare Time 2 started and Nick was playing Prof. Hidgens. A lot of people intentionally don't talk about it, which I understand, but it makes it hard for people who just want to know what's going on. So again, anyone please correct me if you know differently. I don't feel like I should send this at this point, but I've been typing for half an hour, so. 😛

People who crowdfunded the StarKid 10th anniversary campaign get to watch it whenever they want, and the rest of us bought digital tickets to watch its digital premiere for a limited time. There are currently no plans to release it otherwise, but that doesn't mean they won't at some point.

I don't know if there's an official timeline, but we do know that NPMD is set in late 2020 (probably October), TGWDLM is probably in 2018, and NT season one (if all episodes are in the same universe like season 2) is in 2019 iirc

Watcher's World, the second story in the first episode of Nightmare Time. It was the first introduction of a Lord in Black other than Wiggly. Tinky then showed up in Time Bastard, and then the group was finally revealed as a whole at the end of the season. Season 2 had Nibbly's first appearance in Honey Queen, and then in Yellowjacket it was revealed that Poki had been the alien hive mind in TGWDLM. Sorry for... way over explaining your answer. It's Watcher's World. James plays them in the episode.
