🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

would be nice if these first couple of videos spawned a series of Jim dressing us/prepping us up, like fitting a shoe, choosing a watch, etc with the last video teaching us formal etiquette and such just an idea, I love all your videos Jim thank you so much for all the hard work and for helping us relax and sleep for years now

i really am enjoying how slightly unhinged this character is. like he seems serious buy then its like very clear he has been taking that mercury. on another note this made me feel surprisingly good about my big head??? so. great video overall, really!

I see you're just brimming with puns, and I must say that I really felt they were good. I just hope that no one berets our love of punning. 😊
I love the lore that this strange little series has. There are no magician shoppes there because they were chased out of town.
The transformation that manifested during the unfoldment of this scenario was magic. Jim started off as a natty little man delicately and dexterously gesticulating. He then seamlessly shapeshifted into a more giant form, smoothly encompassing and molding what now seemed to be a child's hat. Though he is talking to an adult customer, a man due to it being a bowler hat, I suppose. Is this TRUE magic? Or is Jim's magnificent genius residing in a truly magnificently large bonce?
This is very relaxing despite the struggle with sweating Jim. Although I couldn't help but chuckle a bit when the measuring tape fell. 🤭 Wonderful as always.
Who will know the line which made me laugh the most is that "back in 1832"😂
This character’s overall vibe and accent reminds me a lot of Ben! I love him already :>

You should do like a monster role play, like Johan manipulates you to sleep or Mr grimmer rambling about fishing and other things. I feel like you’d have a lot of fun with the characters. Also have you seen the show monster? If no I highly recommend it.
The highest quality felt hats are normally made of Beaver Fur Felt and rabbit would be just below that. There are also blends of the two. Wool is by far the cheapest.
You are awesome, very solid acting.
I really hope this ends up becoming a series ASMR story same as the Druids one was.
