Shoemaker ASMR (Relaxing Cobbler Making A Shoe)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

#ASMR
Okay, shoe I’m not a cobbler and this absolutely is not how you make shoes, but my sole was overcome when the cheap foam came together and actually started to look like a shoe. I wouldn’t shut up about it for ages - I wing(tipp)ed this video and Kim (who doesn’t really loaf shoes that much) was like ‘what are you doing?’ and I said, ‘I’m making a shoe’. I just knew that was what I was doing, but it didn’t per-suede her. I was worried that I would slipper up, but some kind of weird innate knowledge made me continue, and then I realised what it was.
When I was a kid I couldn’t tell accents apart for some reason, and so I don’t know if it was an American or British VHS, but in the late 80s I religiously watched an animation by A. J. Shalleck Productions of the Elves and the Shoemaker. There was something really ASMR tingly about it because the elves made making shoes look easy - and that stuck with me. The deliberate and confident cutting of leather, the dulcet studding sounds, and the formation of footwear that looked really nice. Anyway, WTF am I talking about? In this video a sarcastic cobbler makes half a shoe for you while cracking wise in a very vague Austrian-come-German-come-Dutch accent. Be advised that the seagulls only go absolutely nuts for the first five minutes or so. Here are some timestamps!
00:00 - 00:57 - Guten tag!
00:58 - 02:54 - Du willst einen schuh?
02:55 - 08:19 - Eine kleine scheiß witz
08:20 - 12:44 - Measuring your feet
12:45 - 18:06 - Gathering materials
18:07 - 36:31 - Making the shoe (cutting & materials sounds)
36:32 - 50:44 - Studding and constructing the shoe
50:45 - 52:51 - Komme später wieder!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
Disclaimer: This video is intended for relaxation. Any views, opinions, or advice expressed is purely for the purpose of entertainment, and to induce tingles through ASMR. These videos are not a substitute for traditional medicine, therapy, or any other professional medium, and should not be treated as such! Take all the advice with a pinch of salt, and certainly don’t take it to heart. That being said, please enjoy them, benefit from them, and hopefully get those warm, tingly feelings. Oh, and it’s not for kids.

As a person who recently was in a psychiatric unit for suicidal actions, I want you to know you're not alone. Anything that's happened to you or anything you've done can be told to a therapist and they still will help you and I do mean anything. I have waited going to one for about 10 years and when I finally did I knew I should have done it 10 years ago. I hope this helps, reach out to me if you want to. If not then I just wish you well.
