The fact that you linked everything in the description makes my life so much easier thanks !
Thank you for your wonderful tips and tricks in putting together the models.
I've been watching your videos for the past months now. These are great!
Man the way you use an airbrush! Such confidence. Great work sir.
That is a stunning color combination and finish !
That colour combination is just fantastic

WOW man, that looks great. You do such amazing work sir.
Good colour combination looks like its going to be a great build
Awesome colours. Nice change from the usual pastel solid colours.
What an great Combination of colors.
Great Video ! Paint looks awesome. Looking forward to some more videos Sir.
Excellent! Great bodywork and color combo man!
Very nice paint job!
Beautiful 2-tone color, how great is that, you just made a white and blue VW T1 Type-2 van before, man.
Just fantastic....see you in the web
I got the RoG 'Hippie' version for Christmas so will be following VERY closely, Tom.
Blijft mooi zo’n samba bus ook als model
That bus is looking sick man
I made the same model, but by revell, and it was a paiin for the body. All separated pieces, to have opening doors, but nothing goes together without a lot of sanding and adjiustment. In the and a model (the t1's) that every car modeller should have, but with the "unibody" like yours is way better... if you're not planning to expose it fully open.
Hi Tom, no doubts that the age make us wise! :) The difference between taping the front of Pepsi van and this one it's huge. I like more this technique...yeasier and fast. Be well 😉
La verdad me encanta lo que haces... pero es mucho pedir que tengas un vídeo para mostrar como haces la pintura, la mesclar y cuanto usas para pintar un auto en escala, te sigo desde Argentina.
Nice color choices. :)

Toppervision1 . Hi Topper
I like the left hand write hand in the credits.
I have to say it Its beauty.
can you please do a video on Vallejo airbrush flow improver
Thanks for the links, I'm interested in that scriber. And the Zero paints too for that matter, they're spraying so smoothly. What diameter is your airbrush nozzle, .3?
Cool.
I also have a HS Silverline airbrush, but how do you tell the difference in the 0.4mm and the 0.2mm needle?
You should build a rat rod or something I would like to see what you could do with rust
Hey Tom so I’m looking to get into airbrushing ( since paint cans don’t turn out the best) and I was wondering what your compressor thing was that you used? And any recommendations?

I have a eurotech 20a
Love the colour scheme Tom. Is there a reason you kept the clear coat flowing between passes? I don't remember seeing you do this much, if at all?
@TheScalemodelingChannel

To lay it on thicker
how much psi you use for you airbrush
I defenitively pref speed up when you paint. It will be less boring
Hi Tom, just had a quick question. I've noticed that you use Vallejo air for brushing, do you notice a difference between the air paint and regular acrylic?
@TheScalemodelingChannel
6 жыл бұрын
Its thinner, therefor the finish is smoother and it brushes on easier
Nice colour combination, it works very well, I take it the vinyl sunroof will be painted in acrylic?
@TheScalemodelingChannel
6 жыл бұрын
No, why specificaly acrylic?
@arrrgee
6 жыл бұрын
Well after you used the 2k clear, normally you paint acrylics once that's applied for finishing touches, so I thought you might paint that in acrylics, of course I guess you could use matt or semi gloss zero paints as well.
@TheScalemodelingChannel

aahh, i get it. no the acrylic is just for small details and window trim etc, not big surfaces like the roof.
could you get a good result by using a brush for the body?
@TheScalemodelingChannel
6 жыл бұрын
No
Valt mij op dat je bij de clearcoat een andere spuittechniek gebruikt. Aan één stuk door ipv met korte pauzes ertussen. Is daar een reden voor? Ps. Super kleurencombinatie trouwens
@TheScalemodelingChannel
6 жыл бұрын
Ook bij de clear gebruik ik veelal korte pauzes. Misschien valt het minder op omdat ik het er dikker op spuit
hi tom, awesome vdeos! My Question to you is, when you have the parts in the kit already in the EXACT same color you need them, do you still go ahead and paint them? Thanks in advance
@TheScalemodelingChannel
6 жыл бұрын
I do, since i don’t like the plastic look
@TheCarpboss1

The Scalemodeling Channel and if you clearcoat them? Well it doesn't make a difference does it?
@TheScalemodelingChannel
6 жыл бұрын

Do you leave the paint and the 2k in the airbrush when you wait 5 minutes?
@TheScalemodelingChannel

The Scalemodeling Channel thanks for the hasty reply! You're a great inspiration for all of us!
Can you please do VW beetle?
painting the main body you got a big spot you missed there on the top of the roof. I thought you may need to know that. the 2nd thing. did you ever heard of FUTURE FLOOR?That is a clear coat that you use on your floor. also works as a clear coat for you plastic kitkzread.info/dash/bejne/m4acxZSyf6nJibw.html you get a big bottle and its cheap for the long run.. the pros is its a acrylic based very high gloss clear coat. simply air brush it your kit and let dry. clean the air brush is using Alcohol 91% mix lots of it will clean out all the FUTURE FLOOR out of the air brush. try it. buying one giant bottle of Future Floor will go a long way and cheaper then buying 50 tinny bottles of clear coat from the hobby store.
