We have several midget managers on the place that make everything we do seem worth doing. :0) Doc Jones homegrownherbalist.net/about-the-school/
I was amazed that one calendula plant I had transplanted into a pot next to the house because it didn’t look happy in the garden last summer, survived the winter! Am in South Carolina but we had several frosts and once had a hard freeze for over 12 hours yet she has already given me one flower this Spring!

Thanks Diane. Hope your Calendula does well. Doc Jones homegrownherbalist.net/about-the-school/
Your daughter is sooooo adorable and so smart. I learned so much about calendula from this video. Thank you. I am going to grow these next season.
You got me at "Calendula, WOW!"
I grew around 50 plants this year on purpose to have to add to my comfrey salve recipe. I didnt realize some of the additional benefits you listed. I love learning about the herbs God provided for us! I tried my comfrey salve (w/calendula) on a cold sore a few months ago and it was the fastest and best healing I've ever experienced.
This video is particularly helpful, as the Calendula I started from seed , has it’s first bud . Watching your videos, is the reason I planted Calendula, in the first place .Thanks 🌼
I just found your channel today from Homesteading Family video you did, I subscribed. I like your cheerful and informative way of conveying information. It's wonderful how respectfully & kindly you treat your child, sadly not all parents do that. She will no doubt have good self esteem when she grows up and choose a mate who treats her respectfully & kindly.
I love caledula. I eat petals I'm salad, make teas to cleanse out blood and infections, make a salve with coconut oil, calendula petals and turmeric for rashes
Calendula is one of my favorites.
THIS VIDEO IS SO PRECIOUS 🥰🥰🥰!!!!!
I’ve not been very successful bringing this plant to maturity…seems they start well but can’t deal with our insane summer’s here later in the year…in Georgia stay blessed and thank you for sharing your knowledge…
Dee Dee is precious! Love your videos. I have been trying to open an account on your website to buy some things and having trouble. Can't get a password. I sent an email but haven't heard anything. Help! Lol

You Bet Reva.
Last year, my neighbors weed-eated my lawn after I'd asked them not to at least twice. They wound up killing my lavender, my dill, and both of my calendula plants before I could get any seeds from any of them.

That's sad and it makes me angry for you. They are trespassing on your property. I encourage you to try talking to them again. Let them know you appreciate their kind gesture {if that's what it really was}, and tell them very firmly DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN. Perhaps they are not doing it for you out of kindness, but only for self serving purposes if they just don't like the' look' of your herbs which look 'weedy' to them.
Hi! So glad I found your channel! I have a question about your garden beds, I'm want to put in raised beds and noticed you are using what looks like a galvanized metal and was wondering about using that myself for herbs and vegetables. Do you have any concerns about the safety? I would love to have your thought on this? Thank you so much!! I love your channel! ❤
Hi! Thank you for the nice video! Do you know if Calendula arvensis has the same qualities ?
Thank you for all the information you give us. I'm not sure if you will get this question but what would you recommend for someone that just had prolapse surgery and had their bladder tied up
@ahuvaphillips1580

Not going to second guess the herbal information, just suggesting that you also see a pelvic floor specialist for PT if you possibly can. They aren't "just" PT, they really know how to help. It's made a world of difference for me - given that I had some negative after effects following a complete hysterectomy, then a bladder sling surgery a few months later.

I have a formula called Bladder Toner that helps to strengthen the bladder but I think Ahuva is right. A good pelvic floor specialist PT would be a good idea. Sometimes a mechanical issue benefits most from a good mechanic. :0) Doc Jones homegrownherbalist.net/about-the-school/
You are so much fun to listen to. I hope some of this great info sticks to my brain! Maybe I need dragon teeth like the Calendula seed! Is Calendula safe topically for pregnant ladies?
Thank you, do you know where I can order medicinal herb plants ,😇🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
So I went to a nursery and purchased some calendula plants, got home and realized the are hybrid of calendula officials. Can I still use this for a salve?
Cantik sekali 🙏👍

So what herb or herbs are good for a slow growing breast cancer?
@HomeGrownHerbalist
2 жыл бұрын
For cancer, I don't recommend herbs as a replacement for medical intervention. But there are some herbs that, if used at the proper times and in the proper ways so as not to interfere with medical stuff can be helpful. Those discussions are a bit too lengthy and deep for a youtube comment. but we do cover it in the school. Shoot me an email Jean. Doc Jones homegrownherbalist.net/about-the-school/
