My friend sent me this song about 4 years ago and I used to listen to it all the time. We used to be such good friends but about 6 months ago it seems she just abandoned her discord account and I don't have any other way to talk to her. Aaaah this song and anime sure does bring back memories! There seems to be a theme of me doing very nostalgic songs, huh? (whistles) haha we decided to do a stripped down acoustic version for this one! I'm a huge fan of the rock version that Haruhi sings in the show, but for those of you who have been around since the very beginning of my channel (and I'm talking about my previous channel from the embarrassing 2006-9 years), I did a slow piano cover once upon a time! I really wanted to revisit that style, since I think the lyrics to this song lend themselves really nicely to a slow, somber -- MELANCHOLY (drum solo) version! This is a beautiful rendition of God Knows and I absolutely love your lyrical choices. You kept the original spirit of the song, while also changing its tone and did a fantastic job singing it. I would love to see you do a rendition of Lost my Music as well, but that's wishful thinking. I'm definitely going to get this!

It'd be a pretty funny twist if it turns out Haruhi knew she was god all along and just wanted to have a wacky highschool experience. Or if Kyon was actually god.

Jose Osorio I used to be so addicted to slice of life school anime because I used to be like, "I wish that was my high school life". I moved on from that feeling afterwards and haven't watched anything of that genre in a while, but a lot of my favorite anime are from it. Haruhi Suzumiya, Azumanga Daioh, Genshiken, Wagnaria, Lucky Star, Clannad, etc. I might re-watch a few of those sometime.

Well, everything except for 8 painful episodes. But aside of the Anime, I can recommend the Light Novel. I enjoyed it even more than the Anime

This video is great! Your singing is so beautiful~! Although it is slower than the actual song, it still suits it somehow. A wonderful song for a wonderful anime! HARUHI (all caps referring to the anime, not the character) is great if you're patient and in it for the ride, that is, not looking for anything especially in your anime.

What I would recommend for anyone is to watch only the first, second, and eighth episodes of the endless eight series. Much better than watching the whole thing lol.

Okay, hear me out: this song is amazing. Like, HOLY SHIT this sounds fantastic. But the original rock version is one of the best anime scenes of all time and I would love to hear your voice do it justice.

オリジナルの歌は"想いを届けたい！"っていう力強くて疾走感のあるすんばらしいやつだけど、こっちもこっちで"想いが伝わってほしい。"っていうどことなく切ないけど必死な感じがたまらなく好きだ！！！ I feel like original of this song is telling me her strong determination like "I will deliver my feeling to him no matter what!", which I really love! But also, I admire this one so much too because I feel like this one just expresses another aspect of original song like she wishing "I hope my feeling will reach to his heart...", which is so heartrending but very sincere to me! *This is just my feeling so please don't take it personally!

i have neither watched the anime nor the original opening, but I'm so glad i listened to this. your voice is so amazing and the song is simply beautiful. i literally have no words to describe how good the music and lyrics are.

With you on that. I keep this song (or a version or two of it) on my mp3 player for work at all times. I love getting to the "Dakara, Watashi..." line near the end, just rocking out some emotion.

Just to inform you for the story-line one of the episodes repeats multiple times

i was listening this song before when i was high school, now im already graduate and come back here again. I don't really know why i feels everything past so fast and i get more pain about nothing could be back like before, nowadays feel like in painful world like there is only hopeless in my life. Pray for Thailand, my dream, my soul and my future. I don't know what i can do now. really

Gotta be the best translation of this song. Its so much smoother than the others and it flows well. You should make the rock version of this also if you havent already.
