Gotta admit, Voldemort's not such a bad guy after all. I mean, sure, he sets up all these puzzles, obstacles and traps for Harry in the Chamber, but he's also nice enough to leave behind Chocolate Frogs, chests and cauldrons full of Bertie Bott Beans and even a collector's wizard card for him. Who knew he can be such a good sport?

Maybe Tom was the one who hid those stuff, maybe those used to be elsewhere in Hogwarts before Tom collected them and used Chamber of Secrets as his storage.

Simple - Voldemort captured them and put them in the Chamber to be an obstacle for Harry to overcome and to mentally torture them with the notion that they're in the lair of their mortal enemy. Because he is one sick, sadistic son of a bitch.

I wish it would show why Lockhart’s memory charm backfired like it did in book and movie.

I've found a sort of a game-breaking bug: the last night (after the Aragog boss battle, when Ron brings you back to Hogwarts and tells you to go see the petrified Hermione), if you walk out of the castle instead and then try to enter it again, the castle doors will open, and... you'll run into the "painting" of the hall that you can't walk through. During the normal game, when you approach the castle door, it opens slightly and reveals a part of this "painting", like a background. But now, you just walk into it

Rowling toned the basilisk's killing power WAY down. Harry would have died immediately if he faced a full-powered basilisk. They could kill you by biting you, by spitting on you, by breathing on you, by roaring within earshot of you, by touching you... by touching something that you also happen to be touching... heck, _standing too close to one_ was instant death. Its gaze was so toxic that it could kill you just by looking at you; you didn't even need to be looking at it! Basilisks were vulnerable to mirrors (they weren't immune to their own stare), the crow of a rooster, and weasels (for some reason). Or, of course, you could just stab it to death, but basilisks tended to take anyone who managed to stab them with them.

that music at the begining,still makes me scared...

At 16 minutes in when you reached the snails what i think you should've done is throw all three of them into the trapdoor. because as you noticed at 16:12 when you stepped on the trapdoor you had to jump onto a platform because it opened a moment later, that was because you had dropped 1 snail into the trapdoor, trapped the second into the hall where the save book was and the third into a nearby pit. had you thrown all 3 snails into the trapdoor, it would not have opened again after that. (Just something i learned when i played the game years ago).

21:15 So they had the same uniforms in this game as well as the first game, AND.....AND.......even back in Tom Riddle's era (which was like what???....50 years ago), but then they change them for the very next game and then on down the line.

theres a very eerie yet beautiful quality to this game

Awesome gameplay. Maybe the last secret is the Chamber itself...

I thought that I saw a chest above the platforms with the snails that get lowered by the pixie ropes, but it's hard to be sure because it's so dark. If there's something there, it would make sense with the lumos secret that has no explanation except to try to trick you into not getting the wizard card, but if you cut half the ropes, and use the lumos to reach it, you still can't jump high enough to reach the area that looks like it has a wizard chest, so I'm not sure. Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I seeing things?

ah i still remember this game i didn't know how to change the screen resolution so i never was able to see my hp bar... i still am amazed i got this far with one hp

I'm pretty sure there's a secret at 14:40 - just opposite the other secret with the chest. I think the game fails to register the Chocolate Frog area as a secret, despite the secret area marker being there. I swear I saw it in +Harry Potter game modding's editor. This video does have a very observant description, though. I never thought that the basilisk was so…unimpressive. If Tom Riddle didn't want to be destroyed by the basilisk falling on his diary, wouldn't he have moved it, or held it himself? (By the way, the boulder bit, known by the Debug Menu as "Sliding Block", is my personal favourite part in the whole game. It could've been a bit more elaborate, but Harry's reaction was hilarious!)

Ventodivino87 Neither did I. And I think *****'s editor may explain why. If someone rewrote the Secret trigger, it would work. I remember when I was younger, when I was really confused upon why I could only find 3 of the 4 secrets. But it was worth it to do it in Debug Mode, if only to see the debug output's silly message: "Secret area found! Oh most glorious delight and joy!!"

***** Not that I can think of. If you have a working editor, you could try deleting the Secret trigger altogether. That's what I did.

I lost it at the cuts center after the basilisk. So dramatic

How is Harry doing those Sidewalk moves with his Arms spread when you change directions is it programed or can the Player Program that in the Opitions/Controls Section????

Did you notice that when you go to the basilisk place, you have only 3/4 keys (when you go to the menu)?? I mean secret places.

It's pretty painful for Voldemort here. After you know about the horcruxes in the 6th and 7th Book, Riddle's diary Contains 50% of Voldemorts soul, since it was the 1st horcrux he made.

According to another video, even if you get to card still up high, it would not trigger a secret.

There was a chest at 8:19 - did you ever open it?

There must be a 4th secret area somewhere, it's just as far as I know still undiscovered

I tried with debug mode and used the command showall, apparently secret 2 is also supposed to trigger secret 3, as there are 2 walls uncovered by Lumos, but for some reason it doesn't register

Remember that the developers were adult ass-hats who made Harry and Ron dither in Flourish & Blotts to have an excuse for them to take the car (so that they wouldn't have to model Charing Cross). I bet the last part was just for the lolz. I can verify that the final "secret trigger" can't be activated, but is counted by the game as being valid.
