Harry Enfield On His Comedy Success

Ойын-сауық

In this episode, Rob is joined by comedian Harry Enfield for his first-ever podcast appearance.
The pair discuss Harry’s spoof documentary, The Lovebox In Your Living Room (available now on BBC iPlayer), how he came to voice characters on the hit ITV show Spitting Image aged just 24, and his experience of working with Steve Coogan.
We’re also treated to quick-fire impersonations of Harry’s most popular character creations, including Stavros, Loadsamoney, and Dave Nice.

A nervous Enfield maybe the funniest thing of all time. The fact that Whitehouse could keep a straight face for thirty second proves what a good actor he is.

Really interesting interview, largely due to Harry not participating in many. Such a good natured chap. And one of our very best comedy actors/satirists.

My dad worked for a tobacco company and when I was six I got a regular tour of the factory and saw cigarettes being made. I was the only kid at school with Silk Cut and Benson and Hedges branded pencils and pencil cases😆

Reminds me of Dick Emery in some way. When he told Rob that was good, he couldn't have had a better compliment. Great interview, subscribed pal.
