Those very early youtube videos had the benefit of appearing to be very immediate glimpses of something well established, ingrained already in the culture.

The facades of 'acted character' not being part of a person's actual psyche, soul, personal spectrum, whatever Cracks me up. Character is part of a person. Period. Sometimes other people write the part and even the script. THAT is concerning. Been projected as 'not me' and 'who me?' for millennia. Better if we could gather our pieces and put them together as nature would allow through healing all the bits rather than leaving the loss lost in the profit of 'drama' and 'entertainment'. Art is not meant to do harm and hide the harm. Art has the duty to help human life heal in balance with nature..as play yes...but not with truth. I

Don't use Duolingo to learn a language 😭 Take it from a French teacher with a master's degree in teaching French to non-French speakers. It's actually pretty bad for you. Watch TV shows, movies, talk to French people, if you have the money for it take actual French classes. But please don't use Duolingo.
