For the love of god don’t watch the holiday special, it’s truly painful, worse than for Harrison Ford, at least he just acted in some of the more normal parts of the special, but other parts are so long and nonsensical, it’s really a struggle to watch. Maybe if you’re with a group and all drunk or high it might be bearable.

As you can appreciate, i have every respect for him and every vet that fought for our freedom that we have today and how they were treated when they came back and the B.S. way they are treated by the government today in so many ways not just the lack of money in a pension. Point is, Me and my mates dad have had many conversations about the days of old and the flashbacks and we've cried and remembered. but after all that is said and done, you know what he says to me - You have to move on - You have to learn to laugh again - that was another time and horrific things were done, however when you look at history there have been more horrific things done His point simply was... Learn to laugh and enjoy life again for the little time that we are here. As for your uncle.... I'm also an uncle. May your uncle Rest in Peace and forever be honoured by those who remember him but mate, As much as i understand your comment (and absolutely understand !!) , i really do I'm just gonna say it straight ok, there's no point beating around a bush when we are on the same page - You hurt, I understand I Lost my father 1 year ago. - THE O.P. Side note about the thumb and pinkie finger being the universal sign for phone. As a Christmas gift, I gave a pair of Bluetooth gloves to my boss. They were awesome because the mic was in the pinkie and the speaker was in the thumb. You literally walk around talking into your pinkie with your thumb by your ear. It takes “talk to the hand” to a whole other level.

But can totally understand how kids and families would've been completely hungry for it back in the day. Entertainment industry was just different back then.

l was in high school and everyone went to see starwars the movie.. including my parents! who never went to see movies. ever. l didnt go and to this day l think lm the only person on the planet who has never seen starwars.. (also harry potter, hobbit movies, LOTR, etc..) l am however. a huge (orig) star trek fan, and love the jj abrams movies.. (gg l didnt mean to share all that lol) 🤷‍♀️
