Ok I've been debating on doing the same, I had a muscle and really want a night rod muscle, does the body all match up from the muscle to the night rod and as far as the seat and back fender and wiring for the lights, and cost effectiveness, I literally just want the muscle body on the night rod. No real extra bells and whistles yet.

The derby cover..is that a plain black one with a Porsche decal on it it does it come just like that. I looked on the site and could not find that one specifically. Would like that on my night Rod special 2016. If you can let me know o would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Hello JTron83 What a beautiful VRod. Is it a 2008 model with ABS and are they stock wheels you have fitted? My reason is I want the look you have but with ABS fitted.

Thanks! I prefer the Zeel bars almost 100%, they're much beefier, sit lower and have less pullback which I like cause I have long arms. All of that gives the bike a much more aggressive look and feel. The one downside, is these bars aren't dimpled or drilled for internal wiring. The GR bars were skinnier (1") and have more pullback, good for short arms and come pre drilled and dimpled. Zeel bars $900 GR bars $150

You dont need pointy sharp things or a dorky huge tear tire to customize a bike. When tastefully done custom bikes should look like factory configuration. Dont get all butt hurt this is just my opinion and l own a nightrod special

I have had 40 plus motorcycles ,and this would be the only harley I would buy,,, there no chance of you not making back from where you started, and parts dont fly off at high rates of speed ,,any way if you go back to the 1986s youll remember a little old bike called the elimanater,,just look at the styling and tell me harley didnt copy that platform ,and ill tell you ,,you dont know bikes ,,
