I will make a note of the 08 Bob. I love the experience of a Harley. My old man has a K reg Heritage (custom now) and has been all over States and Europe on it. I had a GS550 when I was 17 and most recently a Z750 but Harley from now on for sure. Different experience. It will be a few years until I upgrade....just want to ride it at the mo and enjoy it. Off to Normandy in a few weeks for a week touring.

Bet you regret selling, unless you've replaced with something else. A sweet lkg bike. Refreshing to see something else besides just another totally blacked out street Bob. Nothing looks better than a clean striped down black bike with chrome spokes and rims. Just ask any bike builder. Perfect as is, just the right amount of chrome and nicely done.

You mounting and pullin away, best moment ever! I'd give for a few moments this summer to try that ride!

I've got a 07 with same vance and hines but I took out the baffles and added a fuel pack. When you added in the cold air induction did you notice a difference at all in power? Where did you get that speedo/tach at as well? Thanks

Cheers for the info. I have just returned from Normandy on the sporty. Great time. I don't suppose you can give me any details on the bulk of the extras for your old street bob. It looks as though you changed the rear end quite a bit with the fender and shocks etc.

I'll look him up and mention you. It is good to see a street bob with some chrome on engine. I like the model but think they are too blacked out in the main. I got my first Harley last year - an 06 XL 1200 R. Everyone seems to buy Nightsters so I thought I'd be different. I am already thinking of my next Harley and am torn between super glide custom and the street bob - i prefer the standard look of super glide custom. You UK I take it?
