Vrods are very underrated machines. I've ridden every style of bike over the last 30 years and there are some that just deliver in a way nothing else does and the vrod is one of those. So much fun, easy to ride, exceptional machine. Love it, Harley created something truly special and kept making it better and better.

Great mixture, ,,,,same exhaust on most of the Rods,just some camera's suck for sound. Best one for me was the last one,,,,,he gone!,,,,....as an owner of one,it sounds best in real life.

It is but bit on loud side compared to longer bassani . Have them both prefer basani v@h just kiling my ear drums after a while

Best pipe sound for a vrod are Bub Jug Huggers no baffles. IMO

What was the first exhaust? Not too loud and a nice sound.

Samson long shots are loudest and will split your skull in half! 0 baffles and also the throttle release between gears has a badass sound too. That's why they outlawed Samson pipes. Way to Loud! and they we're forced to stop selling them, and you can't buy Samson pipes for the V-ROD's anywhere! Try and find them? Peace

Newer heard of those brands before !

Its a Thunderheader 2:1 but it doesn't sound like that. I have one on my vrscd. The audio capture is distorting the sound.

Well I don't know much about mufflers specially for these kind of bikes, but this is the best sounding engine I've ever heard with a V and H. Good spot btw

Seeing that you are highlighting different exhaust notes on the V-rod, why not post the name of each one? I like a couple of those, but I have no idea which ones they are because you failed to list the name of each one. Kinda pointless right?

I disagree completely! Have a look at one that is loaded with chrome. They are VERY good looking bikes, AND they are very quick and somewhat fast! Have a look at the used market. You can usually find a really nice one with low mileage and loaded with chrome for a dam good price. My prediction -----> Harley stopped making the V-rod in 2017 (I think). I'm pretty sure that the "Harley Davidson V-rod" will start to climb in value real soon. If you can get your hands on one for a steal of a price, buy it, you won't be sorry in a few years, GUARANTTED!!!!!
