Vrods are just fun, there's no other way to put it. Acceleration is good for a cruiser, they don't do anything specifically great but they are just a charming and ridiculously fun bike to ride.

Heavy weight low gravity centered bikes are great cruisers on the rain. + Their length allows to do safer burnouts

Damn. Ive never been into harleys, just recently got interested in them, heard people disliked the v rod because it "wasnt a real harley" even though its supposedly way more reliable, more powerful, etc... I mean, i see why they would say that, it just seems better? sounds like an angrier Suzuki SV1000, which is probably sacrilege to an oldschool harley person but in my book, thats a win.

It's a totally different motorcycle from a traditional Harley. I've had sports bikes and the V Rod is much more comparable to them then the Air cooled Harley's. I used to have a Honda Super Blackbird which at the time was the world's fastest motorcycle. Now I have two air cooled HDs. The cruiser crowd is into sound and just kicking back and smelling the roses. As we get older I at least just want to cruise . Not to say I can't still ride a sport bike I can I just don't want too.👍🤔🇬🇧🇺🇸😎

theoracle42 Why can’t you? Do it like anyone else does and practice. When I started I could barely get the front wheel off the ground and within 2 months I could easily wheelie my gixxer for kilometres at a time. I understand a v-rod is a different animal but they’re all similar enough. I used to wheelie my friends dads Vulcan back in the day too. So it’s possible with anything with enough power. Lol

smokey90 I dont care what you ride theres always something out there faster or quicker. But as far as cool or bad enough theres no doubt it delivers. By the way what do you ride a walk through frame 70 cc. Scooter or a vespa moped. You suck

Richard Barr You’re pretty butt hurt over a comment. Probably because it’s true. Harleys are so behind and most of them suck. I like some custom V-rods but other than that they’re unsophisticated boats with crap suspension and no power. So settle down old man, the other dude wasn’t wrong.

Dragan M It is fast, but this bike isn't built for top speed. It's brilliant for straight line acceleration, but the aerodynamics ARE shocking. The Honda VFR800 produces the same horsepower as the V-Rod, but goes well over 150mph.
