A genuine all-rounder! The tonal repertoire of the classic that inspired this model can be heard on countless recordings. But the Harley Benton MM-84A can do even more: The four coils of the two punchy-sounding humbuckers are controlled using a 5-way-switch to deliver a huge range of tones, all the way from an elegant snarl to a wall-shaking grunt. The sound can be further adjusted thanks to the active three-band tone control - endless tonal possibilities await! The body’s basswood construction helps reduce the overall weight and loading on your shoulder. Adhering to decades of tradition, this instrument has has a bolt-on maple neck and a maple fretboard loaded with 21 frets, while the 3-Tone Sunburst finish exudes cool vintage charm.

This is a killer bass ima get one!! And I have 6 stingray basses but still want one very nice jam also!!! Sounds like my astral destiny from earthquaker devices!! Killer pedal!!! I absolutely love how you guys did the bridge as a single coil!!!
Sophie went full John Myung on that arpeggio, and I totally like it!! That being said, the bass is also pretty beautiful...

(The description says 21 frets but in the site it's written 24 frets and you can see in the video they are 24)

What is the Neck Radius and String Spacing. Nice Bass much like the Musicman.
I'm hoping to buy this real soon, so-have to hope they don't run out of stock or else i'll have to bloomin wait. for Thomann to restock it and anything could happen then (jeopardy)

been looking at sterling musicman basses has anyone ever owned both as would like to get this instead if it measures up ?
How come this isn't available any more? I can only find the 4 string version
I've noticed in some of the pics and videos the burst edges look red and others it looks black. Which is correct? Thanks and I love the sound!
is this a good bass for slap? im a begginner and i have this like first option but i dont know if it is good for slapping

I've had jb-75 sounds punchy and sweet, but the weight... this thing weights about 5kg, may be 5.3 that's why I sold it

Who won the telecaster??
This one as a metal style bass would be great! Looking for 24 frets, 5 strings, humbuckers, and a less jazzy colour. Either black, completely white or some cherry burst styles, please
This is a superb well crafted Bass and for the price is just amazing.

I find it strange, that you cant play the neck pickup in singlecoil mode by it self, like with the bridge pickup🤔 But 24frets on a MM style bass, is absolutly perfect😁👌🏾

The only problem with that bass is the 24 frets neck(quite useless in my opinion).it makes it very difficult to slap (and pop) the strings because there is no space between the neck pick-up and the edge of the neck. Otherwise,I am very happy with it

I have the five string version. It's a very nice sounding bass for the price you pay it: great versatility, nice sounds and a nice B string. Only downside is that the neck pickup is too close to the neck, so it's not easy to slap and you have to lower the pickup height in order to make it easier. If you wanna see it in action check my you tube channel.
I'm a really clumsy bass player, but with one of these I might actually improve...
I would love to be a Harley Benton artist … or endorser
Guys you should make a guitar similar to an Epihpone Casino... just for the fans of that desing who cannot afford a real one :)

@@DMSProduktions No, I watched the whole thing first. The pick-ups were demonstrated but nothing of the tonal options. I sort of find that important.
