I remember seeing Animals As Leaders in 2016 and Intervals and Plini were opening and it was probably the biggest musical prostate milking experience ever. Walked out of the venue feeling like a new man.

I saw that tour in Columbus Ohio. You are right and it was fucking amazing. I'm glad you got to witness it too. To be honest, as a fan of both bands and my first time seeing them both, I was genuinely surprised to realize both bands were the same, just switched leads. It was awesome!

I get excited when a band that usually does 3-5 minute songs pulls out a 12-15 minute song out of nowhere. Musical differences I guess.

Streaming services reward shorter songs for their replay value and songs as a whole are being written shorter and shorter to appease the system. It's unfortunate but creative integrity persists over all. Hell, Taylor Swift had a 10 minute song that's praised by her fanbase

I actually get drum lessons from Plini's previous drummer Troy Wright. I think Chris is a great drummer considering the shoes he had to fill, but Troy I think was a much better fit. You should check out some of the footage of Troy playing live for Plini. I highly recommend the live playthrough of Selenium Forest.

Not too sure, but I think it might be alternating bars of 7/8 and 8/8, so essentially 15/8. :)
