Hard working Old Man Repairing Big Tractor Tire Using Aluminium Mold |
Big tractor tire is so popular in our country for its diversity of use. But it can be easily damaged if you don't know how to take care of it. For example, high pressure will make it easier to puncture, and when you try to fix it, the leak will get worse, which will make the tire unusable. In this video, I'll show
Take a look at this video for an easy way to repair your tractor's tire!

Here in Europe you can't find a single professional who is able to do this repair by himself and it will take a group of people with super heavy machinery to do it and which will make the repair as expensive as buying a new tire. This man is recycling this huge tire and making it again functional as before and with a fraction of its original price. He is making his life and literally saving the planet. My deepest respect to him !

@Bro P Would love to see the extended use of tire. Your work on CAT the tires carry lots more weight than the farm tractor that tire is from. And tire shops would never allow that because if it failed on the road and caused bodily injury. The repair station/dealer would be liable

It was a fairly common repair in the UK in the old days. I can recall my father having a newish Ferguson T20 rear tyre repaired in a similar way by a local tyre retailer back in the late 1950s. Nowadays the costs [H&S related stuff, and wages] do not justify it due to the relatively cheap cost of a new tyre for most applications. I believe a similar process is still carried out on customers' damaged tyre carcasses by the tyre manufacturers, even in the rich Western nations, for higher end ultra-large tyres

It is done the world over this way, because it works and it is economical. The only aspect that is questionable about this is the potential contamination from being done in such a filthy environment. After he cleans and stitches the hole up, he puts much larger layers of rubber above and below and hole, and seals it all together with heat. There is much more rubber bonding to the tire body than there was open hole to begin with. It certainly did not only bond to small parts of the tire, the entire patch became a strong part of the tire.

Bless his heart. At that age, working that hard to repair something that's worth so little to us. I saw a dude from what looked like the same area repairing a big hole in an engine block! Here, if an engine block has the smallest crack, it's scrap. That tractor tire would definitely be trash in this country. It's not that everyone is lazy here, it's just that even when they were new, those things wouldn't be worth the time it would take to repair them. In the time that was put into fixing that tire, someone could've made enough money to buy multiple new ones. Those tractor tires aren't cheap, but he put some time into fixing it. What I'm saying is, some of us are far luckier than we ever stop to consider. I think I'm getting to that age, I'm starting to realize that after you have the things you always wanted, you just want more things. Most of the people I know have everything and act like they're miserable. If people like this cat are free to live as they choose, have what they need and have each other, they're probably just as happy or happier than most of us. I bet those kids are awesome! lol Our little spoiled kids in this country are the worst part about having so much! My two are good kids, but all our kids are spoiled. They're raised in a spoiled society by spoiled parents whose parents probably had it pretty good coming up themselves. So that's like three generations of spoiled! lol! Now I'm just thinking way too far into it and typing out my thoughts. lmao! Don't smoke weed and comment on KZread videos, kids! 😂😏🤫

Those engine block repair videos are amazing! I thought the same thing when I first saw it, "that's beyond repair". But "beyond repair" means nothing to these people! They fix things and reuse them over and over, true recycling. The man repairing this tyre has a huge amount of experience at this. You can tell that manipulating the tyre and doing the stitching isn't as easy for him as it once was, but that experience and knowledge really shines through. Also you are right - these people are not all depressed or feel sorry for themselves despite not having the technology and wealth that we have - they are still happy and proud of what they have, and their families. They just get on with it and don't worry about the things we worry about - in fact, our worries would probably make them laugh!

That was an absolutely awesome craft to watch the old guy perform. Almost everything he did wouldn't be allowed in Canada because of the danger and health risks. He was smoking pretty much the whole time but the fumes and toxic smoke going into his face, were scary to see. Everything he did was so skilled, thought out and done with brute force sometimes, that I couldn't stop watching, because I feared I might miss something. LOL I hope he got a big bonus for being followed around and bothered so much. Thanks for sharing this and keep up the awesome content.

At first, after viewing this video, I was upset that we don't get to see the results of the old craftsman's work by having the tire inflated and driven on - but then I realized that there is poetic justice in our not getting to see the results. The key here is - how hard, diligently and skillfully this old master executed his work - without any help whatsoever. That is the key!

Most of these Tractor tires use inner tubes, so Im sure it inflated and held properly. Also most are also filled with water antifreeze mixture and air. so they are pretty solid when inflated.

Here in the mountains of central California they throw such tires away.. This is so refreshing to see, hard work and fixing tires that have much life.. The man is quite interesting. Plus he smiles as he works.. Nice video all.. This guy is older but just knows what to do.. reminds one of old craftsman 200 years ago.. never ever give up.. when finished the tire is as good as new.. yay.. great job..
