LOL you dummy tech, /r It implies the /f parameter as well so if you type /r only it works as both so no need /f /r - This parameter locates bad sectors on the drive and attempts to recover readable information. It implies the /f parameter. To use it, type the following command: chkdsk C: /r /x - This parameter forces the drive to dismount before the scan begins. This is useful if the drive is currently in use and cannot be scanned while Windows is running. To use it, type the following command: chkdsk C: /f /x /b - This parameter reevaluates bad clusters on the drive, which may fix errors caused by bad sectors. To use it, type the following command: chkdsk C: /f /b It's also important to make sure you have a backup of your important data before running any repairs, as there is always a small risk of data loss or corruption.

sir meri extrnal hard disk nh chl rhi laptop . or apke almost vdos dekh liye fir b nh hora kuch .... usme mere data h. wo open b nh hori... CRC cyclic raduancy chck esa message aara. h... disk unallocated or cross ka sign aara h. . plzz solve my problm .. i humble req to you

Sir what is the difference between Windows memory Diagnostic tool and Windows chkdisk.exe tool. Do they hit on the same target in the windows or they are known for their own task.. Could you please define both of them... Thank You Sir.
