Thank you Mark.
I just bought this today and used it on a #41 chain. That poker pin fits but its super tight. You need to put a wrench between the big bolt and the chain to back it out of the chain.

That's one old school oil can dispenser for sure! I remember using my dads when i was a boy, trigger to dispense. I'm 51 now. They don't make them like they use to that's for sure!

We always looked for the master link on the chain and took it apart from there but that would work. Thank you for sharing!

This tool is used just to cut the chain to make it shorter you would have a master link to Paul.
I love all the ads, good stuff you tube!!! Keep the ads coming, awesome!!!
When you are screwing the larger bolt into the chain, make sure it's flush with the chain, and then screw the pin in. This will stabilize and center the punch pin

in some cases do NOT push pin all the way out! leave it hanging on the last edge of that figure 8 plate..other wise very hard to line upand start pin in hole if u need.... go slowly

Does he work for the motorized bicycle engine kit chain kits ?
Thanks, just bought one today with my 30% off coupon. However, I have noticed that one pin has a flat tip and the other tip is beveled.

@@Robinson-Homestead I actually used the bearing to rivet. Worked out OK. But I had to use an "anvil" part from another chain tool kit to only put pressure on the stem that has to be riveted and not on the plate. The other kit cost 10 bucks on Amazon. But it broke lol
Sure beats a grinder and a punch eh. Having dedicated tools is always better than not eh. I have 3 of these that go from saw chain to 120.
