How to Build a Cheap Metal Brake for Your Harbor Freight Press
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video, I show you how to hack together a cheap metal brake to be used in a 20 ton harbor freight press. I use a bunch of scrap steel that I had laying around with a small amount of welding and a few bolts. The whole build probably took about 4 hours, but now I can bend the metal I need to repair the rotted rear window of my Ratty Lemans.

Nice job with the metal brake. I removed my hat for the fallen beer.

Roger Goodman - lol thank you Roger! Losing the beer was rough because it was my last one, and I was excited for it. Ah well. Luckily they still make them, so I can get always more!
Nice!

9:08 Congrats, you just built a guillotine. Jk haha came out great!! Also, fun to watch you try to build this :)
How did you cut that point with a plasma cutter? I can't get mine to cut anything but straight down. Might be time to upgrade?

I have a hypertherm plasma cutter, and if I aim it at just the right angle and go really slowly, it just plain cuts it!
Rust from mouse pee. I better stopl peeing on my metal pile then as well. Thanks for the tip.
