That's what made him cool. Men nowadays just puff up their feathers but are more concerned with being "alpha" than decent.
Perhaps one of the best Fonz/Mr. C heart to heart talks on television!
Henry Winkler - in my mind there was NO television actor that embodied a character better than the Fonz. He was the best. I miss those days dearly. Mr. C. too. I actually try to be that father in his wisdom. God rest his soul. Erin Moran too.

I know what you mean. Back then he was the epitome of "cool". 😎 I'll never forget the Day I use my fists like he does to unjam a Window at School. Teacher couldn't get it down and I jumped up and sauntered over to the row of Windows and wacked it twice and the stuck pane came down so perfect it was like a dream. I was so amazed it worked so well. Man I felt cool.

P Daniel, I agree with everything you posted, There have been numerous characters in the history of TV but the Fonz was clearly unique, Marion Ross said Henry Winkler took that show and ran with it going from a character figure to being the star of the entire thing and Ron Howard knew it, As for Mr. C, There were a lot of great tv dads but Mr. C was special as was Tom Bosley the actor. And watching Joanie grow up on that show over the years going from a cute adorable little girl to a beautiful woman, Yeah I miss that show and cast, Especially the ones who are not with us anymore, 👍👍ayyyyyyye!

Yep, and he guest-starred on an episode of "Happy Days" as Jenny Piccolo's father.
Synopsis After Jenny's date dumps her before a big masquerade ball, Fonzie agrees to take her. They dress as a bride and groom and, as part of a talent portion of the party, have a make-believe wedding. However, since the captain of the boat performed the ceremony, the marriage may be legal. Roger believes they can get the marriage annulled if Jenny agrees to it, but, instead, she comes into Fonzie's apartment carrying suitcases.
This was just a great TV show...Fonzie was great...Mr C. REST IN PEACE IN THE LORD'S GRACE
For the first 10 years or so, the Jenny Piccolo character was often mentioned, but she was never actually seen. During these early episodes, Jenny was Joanie's unseen friend who was always mentioned because she was a bad influence on Joanie. Whenever Joanie talked about something negative, it was because she picked it up from Jenny Piccolo, which made her mom angry! "Mrs. C" often expressed how she didn't want Joanie hanging out with Jenny. Sadly, when the Jenny Piccolo character finally did make an appearance, she brought the character's bad reputation with her. I am happy that over some period of time, Jenny Piccolo was able to shed that bad reputation and cement herself as one of the show's truly legitimate, and beloved characters. I don't think that the Jenny Piccolo character was ever meant to actually materialize. However, over time, Jenny Piccolo became legendary and people just wanted to see her; sort of like Bigfoot or a UFO! Jenny Piccolo did deserve more scenes like this, but it was just nice to see her character finally get some respect.
He's a Sweetheart of a Guy, that's why !!

He also had to end the relationship because even a blind dude would've known better than to try to marry a 17 year old girl when he's about 26 years older than her to avoid getting in trouble with that hot head po po. The only way that would've been legal would've been if he would've paid for a one way trip to the Middle East before the marriage and kissed Milwaukee goodbye.

I didn't care for many of the episodes after Richie and Ralph left, but I did like this one. Fonzie's show at not being married to Jenny is hilarious, but like the nice guy that he was, he let her down easily.
Wow. People today are so negative. No Fonzie didn't have sex with her. He was like an older brother. She just pulled a stunt because she was desperately lonely and he was trying to let her down easy.
No sitcom in television history dropped in quality as dramatically as HAPPY DAYS did. Those first two seasons were absolutely wonderful, from Erin Moran to Henry Winkler , the cast could not have been better, just a wonderful funny show with so much 50's charm, how did it go from that to years later when Mork from Ork paralyzed Fonzie at Arnolds? It became unwatchable, but those first two seasons were just terrific.

Some thoughts from my previous post: Yes, we finally got to see Jenny Piccalo during this season. However, there was another unseen character that was mentioned a lot but never seen, and that was Potsie's father. From what I saw, he sounded like an oddball. Pinky Tuscadero was actually only in 3 episodes, maybe 4- I don't remember exactly. , and they were all basically the same episode in 3 or 4 parts. Fonzie did mention her a lot, but she was not on as much as her younger sister, Leather.
"Be gentle...as I know you can."
I always thought Cathy Silvers was a good actrees, but she stopped after a bit part in Sgt Bilko...which she only got because her father was the original Sgt Bilko (he also played Jenny Picollo's dad).
Cathy Silvers came aboard Happy Days during the 1980-81 season. WIth the departure of Ron Howard (Richie), producers were literally scrabbling. Well, after hearing her name for years, we finally got to see what she looked like. Some have said that revealing her ruined her, as up until then she had always had a mystique about her.

I wonder whatever happened to Denis Mandel, or Scott Bernstein, who played his brother, Melvin Belvin. (By the way, a lot of people don't know this, but Scott Bernstein was almost blind when he played Melvin. He had a hereditary condition called retinitis pigmentosa and had virtually no peripheral vision. Plus he had trouble adjusting his eyes between the strong stage lights and the low back stage lights, and he suffered constant headaches from the glare of the stage lights.
