Hannah Payne's Defense Closing Arguments | Car Crash Vigilante Trial

"No good deed goes unpunished." In his closing arguments, defense attorney Matthew Tucker said Hannah Payne was just trying to do the right thing after a traffic accident and never intended to shoot and kill Kenneth Herring. Payne, 25, faces a possible life sentence for shooting Kenneth Herring in the abdomen when she was 21.

A lot of criminal defense attorneys know their client is guilty. If they are hired to defend someone a person facing long odds they try to work out a plea or get an acquittal on some or all of the charges. If that fails they argue for as lenient of a sentence as they can. But they get paid regardless

The fact that Hannah was 21 years old when this happened is NOT a factor imo. At 21 I was working full time as a registered nurse. I wouldn't have followed a vehicle involved in a car crash after running thru a red light. That is the responsibility of Law Enforcement. Two witnesses testified that Hannah was enraged. Yelling "get out of the fu**ing car, moth**fu***r" repeatedly. She chose to involve herself in a car crash that she had no part in. Perhaps she needs to consider not carrying a firearm until she deals with her violent temper, rage towards others & involvement in a situation that was none of her business.🕵️‍♂️👮🚔

I heard her on the video saying "Get out of the fu**ing car" and I was in shock! Is she a cop wannabe? What was she trying to accomplish? That wasn't her place to point a gun at him or demand he exit the car as she is not law enforcement. I do feel a little bit of sympathy that a young person has thrown their life away but I can't stop wondering, what on earth was she thinking?

I dont have a law degree and I could have taken her case and got her manslaughter. He got her life without parole for killing her husband who was just a dirty old man who dragged her family down. Her lawyer staged it as if she was in love with him, but had no choice but to defend herself after she borrowed a gun and a knife and left a messy murder scene. Another Black 65 yr old man in GA who was chased down by a White person ( woman ) in a vehicle with a gun who had no authority to do so, especially for a traffic violation that she wasn't a part of. The 911 operator told her not to chase after the guy but she continued to do so and then confronted the elder gentlemen which led to her pointing and firing a Springfield DX 9 millimeter handgun into his abdomen , killing him. This is the same story that happened to Ahmad Arbery ,also a Black man that was chased down by 3 White men (,the McMichaels) in a pickup with a shotgun while on foot and murdered for going inside an empty house under construction that didn't belong to them. They are serving life sentences without parole. People have a problem in GA when it comes to interfering in situations that are none of their business! 🤔

First of all, I almost forgot what the hell this MF was talking about This cigarette, smoking, scotch, or bourbon drinking, Pretender, not a defense attorney, but a pretender, really lost his clients case, his expressions, they were unnecessary, and he looked very gimmicky, plus it was obvious that he was trying to twist, witness statements, etc. This girl was wrong, plain and simple. She should have minded her own business, he should’ve tried to make her look a little softer, but he couldn’t because her 911 spoke volumes
