I know you all have to sensationalize things, but the host skipped over a mountain of facts about the defendant. He made it sound like the victim ran from the scene, but in fact, he stayed at the scene for 20 minutes and, he was not himself, because he was possibly having a diabetic episode. And he was killed, because she decided she would execute judgment on this poor victim, and the witnesses ALL saw how wrong and evil the defendant was!! And she lied over and over on the stand, based on the words of ALL the witnesses!!

She told the 911 Operator that she was NOT going to obey her instructions to stop pursuing the victim. That is not FEAR. That is self-importance. Of course, the man grabbed her wrist and the gun. He knew she was going to shoot him.

I honestly think she did stop to help. I genuinely believe her when she said she was afraid he was going to cause another accident. Unfortunately, she made a huge mistake involving a gun in the situation. She had no business flashing a gun. She’s young and sadly has learned a huge life lesson that will affect her forever. And she’s affected the lives of Mr Herrings family. This whole thing is really tragic, I don’t think she is a bad person. Shes not a criminal, she’s just over zealous and it resulted in death. I thought the corrections officer suspected he was drunk, I didn’t hear the low blood sugar story. I’m unsure which one to believe. Did his tox screen show alcohol? If you pull a gun on someone and a bullet from that gun enters that person you are responsible, the context of it matters but it doesn't change the reality that she is responsible. It was her gun, it was her bullet, both were in her hands and under her control. She invented this entire scenario and executed someone in cold-blood because she's delusional enough to imagine she had a "right" to do so. I'm glad the jury has found her guilty on all charges and I hope she serves a significant time in prison.
