It will set it off. But most courts now require removal of belts no matter if they are nonmetallic unless you have pass through creds so...... non issue.

you don't need welding gloves for that job lawyer
or just natural seal grease, which is even better
if that is expensive, for a lawyer than you are under performing

It’s always the rule of thumb to go one size up for any belt. If you plan on conceal carrying, go up 2 sizes!
