It's not really needed and it won't contaminate clothing then also.

Just bought the steel core belt you guys made and love it. it's a bit stiff (obviously since it's got a steel strip running through it,) but i love it. My only complaint is that the holes are 1" apart. I would rather they be 3/4" apart so they fit better.

I've got a couple questions. First, will this cream or dressing hide the line on the belt where it used to be buckled in a different hole? Second, I can't decide between the Tuscan or the Canyon belts. If I lose more weight, will either belt have that worn line more than the other? I like the embossed look of the Tuscan, but not if it's going to have a more beat up look to it after sizing down a couple holes (hopefully). I wear my belt with jeans everyday and with a shirt and tie a couple times a year, so I want it looking it's best. Okay, three questions: what is the difference between your Premium English Bridle Vegetable Tanned Leather and the USA Tanned, Full-Grain, North American Steer Hide on your reversible belt? Thanks.

Hey there and thanks for your questions. The cream will help hide those lines but not completely eliminate them. They will always be slightly visible. I like the Canyon belt and wear that one the majority of the time. If you get a darker color like Black or Havana then that line is much less noticeable or not seen at all. The lighter-colored belts show this mostly. The English Bridle leather, like used on the Canyon and other belts, is a more refined finish. The Veg tanned Steerhide is more utilitarian.

can we use mink oil on our bison leather belt ?

Very sparingly and it will darken the leather some is all. Test on the back of the belt between the screws and make sure you like the results.

Can i use Elephant oil on it?

What are the ingredients in each?

The belt dressing contains USP grade petroleum products and waxes, and beeswax. The Cream has all the info under the specs tab on the page. Thanks!
