It is funny (and sad) how people couldn't see past the very massive bug he had that made the meta comp on every map and mode Hank, Ruffs, and 8-Bit with Boosted Booster. Everyone was calling for nerfs instead of a bug fix, and allowing him to settle into the meta.

Yeah I'm kinda concerned that something similar is going to happen to Kit and Mico. Both brawlers are very volatile in terms of playstyle and have crazy bugs with them right now. If they get over nerfed then they're likely to fall to the bottom of the tier list.

Resistance trait for Bibi, Hank, and Frank. All effects are 50% less effective and knock backs no longer cancel the attacks. That should be enough to at least get them out of F tier

I read somewhere that they said that the healing when charging attacks was removed because they compared his attack to amber's which is just wierd, because amber shoots out many projectiles while Hank charges one, to me it's more comparable to Janet's attack

Don't forget that Hank's ammo acts more like Bee's and Bonnie's, or even Carl's and Charlie's, where they almost instantly get it from their projectile attack ends, while Amber and Janet charge their ammos

if they really don't want to add this back , at least add like 900-1000 hp more (at level 1)

three buffs: 1. Let his Bubble stay big for 10 seconds, not 6 2. Let him heal while charging Bubble 3. let him stay invis in bushes if his bubble is charged by less than 50%

The healing nerf was kinda unnecessary, since it's basically the same as janet's attack, but she's allowed to heal and he isn't. Plus his speed starpower is barely noticeable after the nerf.

According to Adrian (the balance change guy) it isn't the same thing, although I think that still doesn't justify taking away his ability to heal while charging

My idea: Movement Speed: Normal -> Fast Time to charge bubble: 3 -> 2.5 secs Bubble Damage: 4.000 (nerf) Bubble Duration: 6 -> 7 secs Water Ballons (rework): Hank instanly charges a full bubble It's gonna blow: 10% -> 15% speed buff Take Cover: Lasts for 1.5 seconds after leaving a wall (similar to sprouts shield) Super: 6 -> 8 projectiles Super Charge Rate: 10% for smallest bubble, 25% for a full one Fix some bugs (the most annoying being when you start to charge a bubble immediately after a previous one it doesn't work) Make a proper aiming radical for his super Let him heal 30% less efficiently while charging a bubble THE END I think Hank doesn't need a rework, he just needs some love 😢

Hank is the only Brawler in the game that required me to change how I use my finger's. Supercell didn't thought that to use his gadget you have to click on it and in terms stop attacking and for every other brawler it's fine, BUT NOT FOR HANK SINCE IT WILL CANCEL YOUR ATTACK. So if you use your thumbs the only way to use them is before charging the bubble but then it makes them useless. You get less time in the shield and you can't time it as good and it makes water ballon useless since everyone will know you used it and will just run away. To play Hank properly I have to use my middle finger for attacking and my index finger for when I have to use the gadget. It's not comfortable but it's the only thing that makes Hank viable for me. Now with that setup Water Ballon is actually my go to gadget.

I really hate the way they nerfed hank because it made him unbearable to play as.All he is now is this horrid character with bloated stats, he is unfun to play against since he has a lot of health and does a lot of damage through walls, but he also unfun to play as since he can’t heal while charging a bubble, he has a terrible super and charge rate, his attacks hitbox is still bugged ever since his release, he just…can’t.

Here are some buffs that I would recommend to Doug: 1. Movement speed increase from Fast to Very Fast 2. Super change: Invulnerability shield after the resurrection for 1 second. 3. Adding the trait to charge super over time / edgar's speed (this is personally the best buff imo) Im not saying to implement all of these buffs, just one of these would make a huge difference.

I'm a hank main. I mastered him in Gold 1 because on how uncannily powerful he is on most brawl ball maps. But yes he's still quite unplayable everywhere

Hank kind of didn't deserved .it the 1 of the nerfs Is harsh. But all 6 is to much

I got Hank to Gold 3 mastery, and he is really fun, but most of his kit is very underwhelming except for his first star power. Interestingly, he may synergize with the health gear better than any other Brawler due to how he needs to heal quickly to get back to attacking and his large health pool.

I got him to rank 24 and gold 3. Rank 25 hank is pretty much impossible during this meta (looking at you fang).

As an almost hank one trick I'll say this: theres stuff about him that like no one knows about him that makes him considerably stronger, but even without he can be extremely useful in the right hands

That's why I posted on Reddit my concept for a new epic gear that would decrease delay/charging attack time in a main attack. Hank would load his bubble faster, so he could be a little better in the meta. Same would happen with Frank, Bibi and Ash

I love him so much. His voicelines, his gameplay (i know some ppl find it boring, i find it rly fun), and his mythic skin too, i just bought it the other day. Hope to see him viable again.

Hank has such a cool concept and unfortuantely they never really got the balancing right, he still needs a bit more

As a person who has Hank as his 2nd main and spends and ungodly amount of time playing him: Most buffs proposed by the casual players would make Hank the most toxic brawler ever. He shouldn't be hidden in bushes nor should he heal during bubble charge. He just plays differently than other brawlers but people just try to make him "work" by making him broken again. I could write a whole paragraph about Hank but the TLDR is that he can be good, But he just needs a different buffing approach than what the common crows thinks and he needs a different, aimable super pattern (not a different super) Hank is simply not mean to be an aggressive tank like the others.

Let me bring up a question for you. Why do you think Hank was "nerfed" (reworked) into a different character entirely?... Not because of the bugs, not because of his control, no. It was because Hank was a Battle-Tank, the best one we've seen to date. A "Battle-Tank" is a combat oriented tank subclass, one that gets the most value constantly looking to fight their enemies, the problem with that is the fact that they can kill you, but you cannot kill them at all, making them a rather oppressive and powerful group of characters to fight against. Additionally, what I'd consider in brawl stars to be "actively attacking" is being able to see the enemies projectiles or attacks, and Hank's attack is very visible, and while there was a time where he could regenerate while attacking, clearly they didn't want Hank to be a combat tank, so they reworked him, and nerfed his "Dreamybull" (IMBOUTTOBLOU) Star Power by half, since having a gigantic bubble chase you down and snap away all your health wasn't healthy for the game what so ever. His super though, yeah I say it's irredeemable. Hank no longer is a Vanguard, he's a Warden, he's meant to protect his teammates and provide them cover, whilst holding the line preventing from enemies from getting closer, he's not meant to consistently deal a fully charged bubble, he's meant to discourage enemies from even thinking of hurting his friends, warding the baddies off to protect his innocent allies, because that's what true War Heroes do. It's a lot like why people think Frank, Bibi, or Doug are terrible, they require you to play the game differently, and that's something that not many brawl stars players can get around.

Dear Muyo, I am a Hank main. He is my highest mastery brawler (currently gold 2) Hank is my highest trophy brawler (currently 850+range, mostly solo queing) He is honest to goodness a severely underrated brawler, and if paired up with a good support, being a good Gray portal, a max, or a Kit on his back, etc., a Hank is so oppressive and i so often run into situations where very few if any other brawlers would succeed, and those situations outweigh the negative situations. With the right small buffs, i think hank will shoot up the tier lists (my suggestions would be A: a small movement speed buff. B: a charged bubble pops when you die. C: Hank is hidden in a bush UNTIL BUBBLE IS FULLY CHARGED. i recognize that he should be seen with a charging bubble but it would do him so much good to be able to charge at least some of it while hidden. And the bubble popping on death is mostly because many times i release the bubble right before i die but it doesn’t go off due to lag.) Thanks for your time if you read this! Hank is a soldier and you can learn good things from him like:to loose friends-just a joke but he needs a buff like the time where he bless up that bubble what about just 1-2 seconds

As a hank main, I do have some controversial opinions and suggested changes for him, after playing him all the way to 900 trophies: - I find it interesting to not be able to heal while charging the buble, not because it was op, But rather being able to stay at half health for your damage gear (and killing brawlers like piper and tick in one blow). - His movement speed is extremely problematic, as you cannot hit anyone as long as they back away and once your bubble explodes, you're a sitting duck, allowing them for a free hypercharge charge. - My suggested buff would be to rework his ult entirely. To start things off, I find it extremely stupid for hank to have an intakill panic button on a brawler who is supposed to die at closed range. If it were up to me i would make it so that upon activating ult, you would start running at a really faster sped, with the caveat that you would turn slower (like nani's ult for example) and, if you crash into a wall , you would get stunned for a bit. While using your ult, you can charge up your bubble to make some good plays or just escaping from a threat. You can even change his second star power, allowing to explode and deal damage upon crashing down. If hank stays on his current state, he will never be good, not even with a hypercharge (in fact, i would just empower his basic attack instead of his ult when hypercharged).

nah , don't change the super , a tank is supposed to be somewhat good at close range and sometimes you can snipe people with it , and for the bubble problem , just don't let it pop so you can replenish constantly and so you can hold the lane

I do see your point there buddy. At this point honestly, I just want him to be buffed some way or another (just like Doug) as playing him right now is nothing compared to a little cat that does EVERYTHING (in my opinion)

im a 59k player and i will try to be as honest as i can about hank. this video said lof of bad things about hank but the truth is: not a lot of prople know how to play hank, just because he has a way different play style than any other brawler. u cant spam his attacks u have to aim them to actually deal damage, his super is hard to aim but they made it this ay because he is incredibly weak to close range assasins e.g: crow super, edgar super, mortis running in. in my opinion he has a good place in maps with walls that make him good, a lot of brawl ball maps have these walls but most people are under 700 and dont play high trophies and dont see the light that hank has but in 800-1100 hank is seen as a good counter when played in a right team comp and can be devastating when played right. My hank is on 900 right now and when i play in a specific team comp he feels unfair in some situations just because of the map control. his wall shield star power was made to counter throwers so he can hold his position and not fall back and his shield gadget was made to use when he gets suprised attacked and needs emidiet protection. his slow gadget was made to counter tanks and make them be slowed so they cant run away from his bubble when they ar grouped together it wasnt made to chase people down ans his speed star power was made to close the small gap between the almost dead brawler. every one of his abilities have a use but hank is a niche brawler that requires specific and hard to know when to do timings. thats why most people hate him and wished he never existed. so that all being said Hank is a good brawler but he needs the right player to be played 😁

20% of shield is not enough , even if this star power has use , it is not as good as the other one

To fix hank’s wall star power he should keep the shield even after leaving the wall for 2 seconds just like sprout’s photosynthesis star power

Hank is one of the my favorite brawlers, supercell should add back healing while charging the attack, and his movement speed is too slow to be competitive... Maybe, his attack can be invisible in bushes when less charged than %80 percent? I think this buffs will make him good: Movement Speed Buff: 720 -> 760 Can heal while charging the bubble Supercharge buff: 3 hits at maximum charge, 6 hits at minimum charge Invisible in bushes if his attack charge less than %80 percent Optional Faster charge (Maybe this will make him too strong, idk): 2 seconds charging, 4 seconds holding the attack, still 6 seconds in total.

As a hank main, I must say He sucks. But I did push him to 800+, and I must say he actually is quite underrated. On some maps like pinball punt, super beach, or encirclement, it is quite literally impossible to deal with a hank. Especially now with Kit coming into the game, I feel that he may have some spot in the meta now. He also one shots tick 😁

I just got 1000 trophy of hank by myself(random teamate) He is busted with maps that has teleport pad. No one can expect the 4200 instant sirprise attack, and they bascacially died for that or being pushed back.I can survive well with my shield gaget and retrieve successfully. But maps without teleportpad, hank sucks. One of the better change for hank will be making him not being able to be seen in bush while attacking again.
