@@user-vy8jn9mc6g Yes, I think this natural nice noise comes from the piano mechanism rather than from her chair. With mics so close and the front of the piano taken away. And yes, she really is a gem.

No other pianist is lending me a hand to relieve my busy mind like you do. I don't know if your music feels extra nice because of my ADHD, but somehow it entirely turns off all the noise in my head and guides my mind softly to focus and pure relaxation both at the same time. Hania Rani - I just love your work.

I suspect I have ADHD as well (I live somewhere where it'd difficult to get a diagnosis and not a lot of point in doing so) and I also noticed a calming effect of this type of minimalist piano on my thinking. I'd also recommend Philip Glass' Metamorphosis and his other piano works as well as Nils Frahm's piano stuff.

I've never thought about this before, but I feel exactly the same as you do. It might be the simplicity of it, but it's easy to really focus on the different elements and how it all fits together.

This is so beautiful; my heart, mind and awareness open to a new dimension. Thank you Hania.

It is astonishing how her music is fitting perfectly into the landscape of Bergaglia, where Giacometti's Atelier was/is located. By closing my eyes I see the steep slopes, the high mountains, the green fields, the small villages and can smell the lovely sweet winds of summer.

I also have floor boards like this, no sneaking late in at night. Beautiful as ever Hania, 🤍🩶 .A magical journey for me, TC 🇨🇮

There are these massive storms going on outside of this beautiful house on the beach that I'm dog sitting at. It's ethereal & enchanting, having this new live set on a loop, while hearing the howling wind pervasive in the distance. Divine timing of this release. I truly believe Hania's music has traversed lifetimes and has entangled with my soul in an effable way and synchronistically during various phases of my life. I listen to her music more than anything else. It evokes my muse. Divine.

Listened to your music after a surgery - wonderful to relax to & hear during the night.

To have access to Rani's performances, from across an ocean and as they unfold through her young adulthood, is one of the great privileges of my own middle age. I look forward to seeing the documentary to which this is the soundtrack.

If I could close my eyes for eternity listening to your music and never coming back, I would.

Revisiting this today, on World Piano Day 2023. The performance, the video... perfect! Thank you all.

My heart is filled with ache, my mind, with pain. As I look into the world, it's endless search for meaning, the disconnect, the loneliness and raging war towards ourselves and others, Hania, your music, it soothes, it embraces, my sensitivity, temporarily, I am lifted from this awareness.

Absolutely wonderful. I really like this album and this performance was top notch. Hania is quickly becoming my favorite pianist.

What can be said about Ms Rani that hasn't already been said? (and she deserves every bit of the high praise) I think that the piano she plays in this performance deserves some credit. What a gorgeous instrument---not the sound one might expect from a "lowly" upright piano! Finally, kudos to the sound engineer(s).

I'm glad you mentioned that. Without the whole placement, it would not have the same sound or effect. The album recording is not this special, and so I ask for an eternal time capsule of this recording. A real pinnacle piece in the evolution of the human with beyond words ability.

ich finde man muss in die töne hineinhören wie sie es tut mit dem filz der hämmer. 'danke' sagen heisst immer auch ein wenig 'please stop! dankeschön!' es ist meditative stamina kein individuelles trostpflaster. es wird genauso gebraucht an irgendeiner stelle der welt
