Breathtaking. You know when you pick up that rare book, when you don't know it's going to speak directly to you, and you can't put it down and you stay up half the night to finish it? That's how I feel about this performance at Invalides. I just found it on KZread. I had never heard of her before and was just looking for some background music to do some work. I was captivated--so very much in the moment, in the present, in the ecstasy of deep connection to my soul. Her music transcends boundaries of spirit, scale, and place. It pauses time and sucks you in to be and experience. Thank you for that amazing performance and for sharing your talent with the world. May we find peace, joy, and acceptance.

@@hadidawani668 Nils and Hania should have a baby... Just saying...
I came across this by chance and was instantly entranced. I've never heard such strange and beautiful music. At first we might be impatient -- where is this going?-- because we are all so impatient, consuming things in little bites all day long and hurrying along. Here, in this space, we can sit still, surrender, and be carried by the music. Hania asks the audience at the end: "did you like it? was it okay? because I wasn't sure." Dear Hania, your audience was so still and silent because they were utterly transfixed by the wonder of this performance. This music shows us the soul, shows us how beautiful the neurology of humans is. I feel sadness but also amazement at how young people can create such beauty when all around is stress, demise, even horror. Hania and her band take that melancholy too and make something beautiful of it.

Omg this was exactly my thought when I first heard Hania Rani! Do they know of each other? Would they like to collaborate? Gosh I hope it will happen while these treasures still both walk the Earth
Just several days ago I had a chance to visit a concert in Lodz, Poland where Hania Rani received an award on the music festival - Golden Ear. Concert was unbelievable, that was in small venue and the silence and focus of the attendees was speaking as much as music. Everything was blacked out only few small lights around pianos on stage. I been to some concerts, including masterminds like Sting, Peter Gabriel or Ennio Morricone, but I never seen so many people sitting, heads supported by hands on knees, not even watching just focusing on what they hear. Unbelievable. Concert started with her going into the mood and feel, mixing various elements from songs plus custom freeflow in improvisation, at least that was my feeling. To feel and receive all of these details, focus you had to achieve was, at times, hard to describe, perhaps even close to painful. Still, to be honest here Hania - perhaps because she had complimentary team - went beyond herself. I wish this particular concert will be released on the CD/Vinyl, as it is truly legendary, and sound quality is just fantastic. As I mentioned after concert, wishing you mrs Hania fruitful well deserved international career, thank you for sharing part of your soul and allowing us to explore this wonderful place.

I saw her live in Rotterdam this year and had to chance to talk to her after the show. I hesitated for a bit, because meeting an artist in real life can be a real bummer if they turn out to be really arrogant or lofty, but I’m glad I took the change! I can't explain how lovely and kind hearted she is in real life. She’s truly one of a kind. Stay Awesome Hania!

She's so lovely. I saw her in Early July (2022) in a small church in Toronto, Canada. She played three 20 minute sets. In the end, an old man hobbled from the back of the church with a walker, and presented her with flowers. She broke down crying and thanked us. "I'm nobody. I'm absolutely nobody," she said with gratitude. The church was a dive. It was a late night. She was sensational and so very kind-hearted. And seeing her live was beyond belief.

Not sure why, but while working on emails in my office today, this music takes me back to my younger days in San Francisco -- when things were deep and heavy with slow jazz, freedom and creative impulses. Really enjoyed the ride!
I just figured out that the "Unreleased" (44:24) piece is actually called "Kyïv", a piece she wrote just after the beginning of the war.

Po prostu magia muzy. Masz w sobie magię, którą umiesz przekazać. Dziękuję za emocje.
WOW Hania Rani 6.5M views! I thought you are an undiscovered diamond. Not undiscovered anymore. Hania Rani and Jakub Józef Orliński are greatest nowadays polish music stars.
stellar...carries to another dimension..they know a world beyond most
2 utwór to poezja melodyjna.
Oh my god. I was routed randomly by YT to this artist, Man this is so huge. Such a beautiful romance of piano and electronics, percussion and melody, i immediately fell i love with it! Such a young great artist, simple astounding. Well, this is love at first sight, i will Look at her records. By the way, a great quality Video!
Zaczarowała mnie ta muzyka. Dziękuje Hania.
It makes me happy to see how much Hania enjoys herself while playing Buka 🙏🏻
Pani Haniu Polska jest dumna Chapaux bas !!! :-) Pozdr
Świetna Hania, świetny cały zespół. Wow!!!
Incredible performance, beyond words. Only peace, genius and joy. Blessings to Hania

Pure magic!
I would never have believed that someone would manage to make it to the same level as Pink Floyd. After 5 seconds, I was trapped. I actually play the guitar, but now I've unpacked my keyboard instruments again. Thank you for this great video!
Love this lady. She is one of those artists whose art comes directly from the center of her being. In this concert she pulls the other musicians from the center of each moment into her miracle of creation. And we get to watch and listen.
Just stumbled upon this video and was not ready for the onslaught of emotions this music gave me.

I couldn't ignore the intense longing it stirred in me. Beautiful. Reminded me a lot of Nils Frahm's music.
If this were released as an album I think it would win a Grammy
Odkrycie roku.
The song "Leaving" has been stuck in my head for days, and this performance of it is remarkable. Listen to it with Buka right after. It is worth seeing the joy she takes in playing this.
Once Chopin, now Hania Rani - the French capital once again taken over by a brilliant Polish artist! Congratulations to Ms Raniszewska, what a breathtaking performance.

I found Hania Rani yesterday, but I'm already in love with her music, such a beautiful vibe...
There is something magical going on here that I can't explain. But it reminds me of the spirit and joy of early JMJ music, also by coincidence performed in Paris. If I weren't designing architectural landscapes, I would be delighted to be designing sonic landscapes, anywhere close to this. The creative arts are international and are one thing that should never divide us.
Her synth work is insane. Such an incredible artist!

Hmmm... using the arpeggiator on a Prophet 08 for Klaus Schulze-like patterns... not my idea of revolutionary synth work. Check out Autechre for some insane synth work...

Her music takes me to a place I've never been with any other artist. Thank you Hania.
"Dancing With Ghosts" - I'm just blown away by that one. In fact the entire set is next level special, I watched this when it premiered then put it on my mp3 player and drove up onto a hill and listened to it all over again as it slowly got dark. Phenomenal.

I think with this she took her songwriting to another level. She is amazing pianist/composer and I think Leaving, Home etc are not songs, just vocal-supported ambient compositions. Her songs till now were rather drafty (Don't brake my heart) and here Ghosts are a product of seemingly hard work made on writing a complete song. Great to hear this result, it's of highest quality.
Wowww, Fantastisch... Ich liebe es.... ❤
From the heavenly realms through the human instruments for all to hear. Beautiful.

Jaki jazz?!!! Chopin improwizował, muzycy w XIX w. improwizowali, Beethoven improwizował, Mozart improwizował, Bach improwizował i całe multum muzyków w minionych epokach. Zaprawdę, powiadam Ci, to nie był jazz. Cała ta Hania Rani to świetny dowód na to, że ludzie słuchają muzyki OCZAMI. Nihil novi. Już Mozart to powiedział do swojej teściowej. Pozdrawiam
A hybridization of the old & New worlds..........................Modern classical, the Future....mind-blowing performance......her facial expressions, those moments of magic....she is in the zone!
I saw her yesterday for the first time. I was wondering "but how do I know her?" and I've just found how now (I have already commented that video one year ago 😊)
Brawo.

I know. If you are like me, it is not going to get "better". I discovered this about a year ago and this concert is pretty much always open in a tab on my computer. There may be a few weeks between me listening to it, but it just seems easier to keep it open than having to search for it, since I know I will need it again soon. I was also fortunate enough to see Hania live a couple of months ago and that was amazing. If you ever get a chance, then go for it. I drove 200km for it both ways. Well worth it!
I think the healing that I need is the most accessible music out of many things! Thank you for playing good music.
What I love about Hania Rani is that her pieces have different musical arrangement during concerts. It's like a knew song every time. Amazing concert, as always.
..the first three minutes is a tribute to Dave Smith.. the author of this wonderful synthesizer. Bravo!
